Week 31: Black Feather CC

Welcome to Week 31 of the Speed Golf.

This week we will be playing Black Feather CC, by MACMAU5. Another unique course for this week. If your favourite thing about TGC is watching that little golf ball roll slowly down hills for days, then this is the course for you! All joking aside, this is actually a really fun course to play, and I hope you enjoy its novel twist.

Anyone know the backstory for using green as fairway? Maybe the designer thought the physics were more accurate on it, or maybe it was purely aesthetics...?

-10 with a triple on some par 5 in what felt like an eternity.

Should been more mentally prepared. Rushed my shots into greens more than I should have after waiting 20+ seconds for my ball to stop on the fringe, and trying to hit it into the rough on the wrong holes led to a basic disaster

got a week off work bored as fcuk saw it and thought why not haha shoulda practiced first tho

Just shot a -16 in about 17mins. Put up a better score in my actual speed golf round than I did in practice. I didn't have much problem with the 'fairway' roll outs until I got to 18. My drive rolled out for what felt like forever, just inching along. Then my 2nd caught a hill and rolled back about 30y right along the fringe the whole way, was like a massive tease barely staying on the green part the entire roll lol.

Took a 9 on 18 when I didn't scout the 2nd shot and smashed a 3 wood at the green only to get stuck on the ditch of doom, oh well... -2 total and took 20 mins. Some good players on this speed golf circuit

Speed Golf is really starting to annoy me.

With the incredibly soft greens and low winds, this course was real easy to take dead aim at every pin. I had a number of tap-in birdie putts less than 5ft. I'm sure Griffin will post something similar in the -17/18 range as well.

It may have been soft but i felt i was wasting time by dialing in the exact distance so i got a rough number and just hit. I just can't get in the groove anymore.
