KenW Memorial Competition
A good online golf friend of mine, Ken, passed away in February 2015, suffering with a brain aneurysm. Any members here who played Tiger Woods on the Wii, or were involved on the EA forum, would have undoubedtly met him in some capacity. Ken was one of the good guys. Ken's favourite courses was TPC Sawgrass and East Lake - in honour of his memory, I'm organising a one round tourney to be played at East Lake. The dates will be 13-20 Feb 2017. This I'm hoping won't interfere with TGCT or other online golfing comitments you may have. Thanking you in advance, Mark

Hey Kram I'm trying to play the tournament and it appears to be locked. Is it open to anyone? I'm sorting it out, I made an error, I'm sorry, clearing it up now.

What an honorable thing to do... What was Ken's Wii screen name? He had several, KenW and HereWeGo were his main ones.

HereWeGo definitely rings a bell. Sorry to hear that. Post when the tourney is straight and I'm looking forward to it. Wii Masters had a great online community, just a few weeks back I still played someone on there randomly.

HereWeGo definitely rings a bell. Sorry to hear that. Post when the tourney is straight and I'm looking forward to it. Wii Masters had a great online community, just a few weeks back I still played someone on there randomly. On the Wii, TW10 was undoubtedly the pinnacle in terms of online numbers. Although I had more fun with TW11, because EA introduced fourball and foursomes, which was fantastic. TW12 killed online fun (imo) with the drastic and unnecessary reduction of game playing options for online. Do you remember DOG12? Zachf31? DavidDuval? Frenchy? SkinniePost?

Sadly my Wii career started and ended with TW12 Masters, which I still love because of the swing mechanic. Online was a disappointment for sure, especially when the "Quick game" option was with slow greens and white tees. Zachf31 sounds a little familiar, the main ones I remember were babeingolf and JoePar. I think theyre still playing.
