Well lads it's a bit quiet in here this week, I was up on Exemption in Euro but struggled in rd 1 and will probably be back here next week when the elite watchers devour me and slinky on -7. Great scoring here from you guys especially dh-nufc and lewis9. I'm loving the bit of smack talk via essay between Dean and hmammoth, I hope you's both make the weekend to continue it. I have definitely noticed a big improvement in your game Dean since hmammoth arrived in web, where was he weeks ago when you were missing all them cuts ;-)

It's an unfamiliar feeling for me waking on a Wednesday, checking the leaderboard after 2 rounds and not having to scroll down to 50th or so position knowing I'll have a painful wait to see if I make the cut.
This week, I've safely made the cut. It's nice. I'm pleased.

Had one of those days on course during round 3 and 4. Like a croc laying in the sun on a warm rock next to the river oblivious to its surroundings. Tees of mindlessly, see flag and shoots. Mind everywhere except on the job at hand and eventually limped home with a 69 in round 3. At the time it was the worst rd3 score on the PC charts.
Woke up ever so slightly wondering where all the shots had gone, finished off with a 64 in round 4, leaves me on -34, probably out of range for an invite to a river with some fatter buck to feast on.

Good man lewis9 keep up the good scoring and you will not only get an exemption but have a chance at the win this week. Unfortunately my 4th round score wasn't good enough. It's ruled out a win for sure but it would be great if I can sneak an exemption. Thanks for the kind words. Good luck Dean with your last 2 rounds. Got my fingers crossed at least one of us can get an exemption for next week.

Don't mind me, just lurking.... Been a busy week at work, and I should be playing my rounds tomorrow. Looks like the approach shots will need to be dialled in. I have played the course once before, and a couple holes for practice and it is a beauty. I agree with the defence of tucking pins once in a while.. People just get to used to playing darts and get upset if they don't have a chance to hole out every approach. There is nothing wrong with forcing good course management by having a pin where close (20 ft) is a good shot. Two putts, take your par and move on. Also felt the need to weigh in on the green speed debate. I feel like it should be up to the golfer to figure out what the green speeds and conditions are. This should be part of preparation for the tournament. You can tell green speed just by looking at the club distance, and usually figure out firmness within one or two holes of practice. If you want someone to hold your hand and tell you how fast the greens are, how firm the greens are, Or how windy it is, I am available for hire to caddie. I will even read the yardage off the screen, and tell you if there is any elevation change. Anyway, good luck everyone, No hand holding required Nick.

It may well be a coincidence, maybe I've been a bit luckier recently with my rounds. Dan won't be happy with that as he's meant to get the luck of the Irish and not his rival Englishman. There has certainly been a big improvement in the last two weeks. It's like the start of the season for me. By the way, best of luck with your exemption attempt. Hopefully the lurkers will have off days!!

I don't want to talk about exemption just yet. It's rarely I put 4 good rounds together but we will see.

Is it a coincidence that both Dean and Chris have the same scores after round two. I don't think so. I don't have any proof but is it possible they are the same player. Let's look at the evidence shall we, as said, the same score, but look closely at the leaderboard and you will see they have the exact same flag next to there names, suspicious or what. Then at the same time Dean starts calling me out on the forums, posting mean things about me, Chris starts sending emails about my clothing, two campaigns to designed to humiliate me started at the same time. I have not figured out how they bothtalked to me at the same time the other night on chat, it's possible a prerecorded conversation was played over chat to confuse me, but get this, both voices had English accents. Then these so called two people had a match play game while still in my chat and guess what, they finished all square, the same score. Now I know at that certain things can be similar but the word same is coming up two much for my liking, same scores, same flags, both play in the web, speaking the same language from the same country, same target for their evil plans. Same person, you decide.

Happy watchers eve Everyone! Wierd how the course name contains the word Royal and we have 4 English in the top 5! Wait a minute dh-nufc what are you doing up there makes you alias redundant if you start playing well! Down to the important stuff! Watcher Safe Zone with 35 to play is -20 . -19 is a 71% shot at making the weekend were we see Jerry " The Bully" Smith sitting. -18 is a 60 % shot we have our noisy neighbour hmammoth telling everyone else about how many chews it took him to eat his protein bar on the 11th tee box. -17 is a 43% shot at the cut we have a couple of CCAers up on exemption hoping to survive the watchers to get there web card. -16 is a 26% shot and we see Dan Kelly again in trouble so used to seeing him in the top 10 on PS4 leaderboards must be carrying an injury. Absolute madness in work and Im double jobbing this week so may be late on my evening report this week!!

-18 is a 60 % shot we have our noisy neighbour hmammoth telling everyone else about how many chews it took him to eat his protein bar on the 11th tee box. It was a hot chicken baguette with sweet corn, cheese and extra mayo. I am not one of those health freaks perfectionist euro tour players like Kenny Woolley and Gary Foster with their protein bars and health shakes.

Same person, you decide. I can second this. I have spoken to "both" of them on chat and there is no discernible difference, even to my highly trained American ear. Also, I think Dan is the same person as they are. His accent is Irish, or so he says. I can't tell the difference TBH. They all speak some odd form of American. Also, also, I suck at this game. I am pretty sure I was over par in the 4th round, but in my blind rage I failed to record the score. So that's nice.
