I'm a neutral viewer of the Super Bowl, but I think the Broncos will make it.

The Broncos get no love from me. I'm still bitter about SB XXXII. #GoPackGo

I don't care either way who wins. I'd be happy for the fans in my area who root for Carolina but would also be happy for Peyton if Denver wins. My guess is the game is a Carolina blowout.

And crickets....
The main reason this is sweet is all of the hype that went on this week about how Carolina's offence was going to steamroll the Broncos.
And in the end it wasn't about Manning. He was awful. It was about a defence that went under the radar because of Carolina's performance in the reg season and playoffs. Except that they never played Denver this year. I even have to admit that I got caught up in the hype and thought the Broncos would lose badly...again.
Carolina paid their dues. They will be a different team next year and will be that much more hungry. I predict they win next year.

The Broncos defense played fantastic and that pass rush was a thing of beauty. I definitely like the fact that defense, in an age when all the rules favor the offense, still wins championships and this game was a great example of it.
With that said, I still feel like the Panthers let this one go. Their defense played well enough to win the game but their offensive gameplan was baffling to say the least. The fact that they continued to rely on pass plays which required a 5 or 7 step dropbacks against that kind of pressure was absolutely silly. It's like they had no idea what to do once they realized their running game wasn't gonna bail them out. And speaking of running game, Cam did not play well but the coaches also did not utilize his strengths effectively. The turnovers didn't help either.
Also, Cam, it's a double-edged sword, buddy. If you're going to act the way you do when you win, you need to act professionally when losing as well.
Nevertheless, congrats to the Broncos defense for winning Super Bowl L. Well deserved.
