After a weekend away from my ps4 I gave a try in another course, and felt ok to go for the first round.
It took me a few holes to get the feeling of the speed of the greens, but once I got it, i could take my part in the birdie fest with a 62 (-11) for the first round (including -8 for the back nine). A lot of low scores to come, but I'm well placed to start.
Good golfing guys!!!

I had a similar experience. It took me quite a few holes before I got my first birdie on my first round. I ended up at -8, thanks in part to my first ace -- a hole-in-one on #17.
I've alerted the local news rag, but so far no return emails.

Hi guys I've only been a member of The Golf Club since December. I played this course a couple of times today and found it really tough. But I'm quite fresh to the tour. I think St George is the hardest course since I've been on CC-D. I Finished over par.

Hey thanks. I've just been keeping quite so as not to take any wind out of others who have yet to play. That was a bizarre round lol. All I wanted to do 1'st hole was birdie it. Got that. Next hole I just wanted to stay out of the water (par 3 with water), intentionally went long on that and just play for par. Got my par then just grinded away trying to get close to the pin. Just couldn't seem to do any wrong. Eagled 13'th par 5, chip in eagle from 55 yards out next hole 14'th par 4...I was kind of shocked lol. Stunned me into a par on 15 lol. Then when I got the eagle on the 16'th par 5 I was in Xfiles land. First time I've had 3 eagles in a round, even casual play I think. Weird round for me lol Hey Tim, show your face. I've seen your 57 posted...You lucky ba$t4rD (J/K, great shooting pal)

I think St George is the hardest course since I've been on CC-D. I Finished over par. Everyone has courses they find difficult and easy, and it can vary big time between player. I have played courses that others birdie like there is no tomorrow and I struggle to par. So never worry if you have a bad week, it happens to us all, mark it down as a learning experience. The fact you are pretty new to the game makes it a little bit tougher, over time though, you will find your game and find the harder courses just that bit easier.
