18 on Son Gual is ridiculous IMO. Too long for the physics of the game, and requires you to lay up off the tee. Unless I'm missing a secret portal or warp zone to the lower fairway, in which case, I take it all back. It is a par 5 so just stay on the top tier and hit 3W on your 2nd shot. I birdied it twice in a tour yesterday, the first was by accident but now I know where to leave the ball its a virtual birdie every time. Just put your 3rd/approach shot past the pin and the green is dead flat up there, no break whatsoever. Didnt realise that until yesterday when I overcooked my pw or 9 iron and was in the fringe behind the hole. Means you dont have to mess with that huge slope in front of the pin either.

I know and I play it that way too. I just hate the idea of a forced layup on a 600+ yard hole. I'm not a fan of that design philosophy.

The hardest is hole 1-18 on Copper Creek in 12mph + winds

I know what's needed but 7 on Mt. Yeti kills me. Hit short, goes down the hill - loft up, spins back down the hill :-) Of course if you go long, watch the putt on the way back or down that hill.

Might throw out the 6th at Crawford Mines just to raise awareness! Those that go big off the tee will have a Loft Wedge or less in - problem is the hole is in the front of the green that slopes back down the false front. Any amount of spin is going to cause you grief. If you lay back with a 5w or 3i and hit in with a 9i or 8i, you'll have much better luck sticking it without ending up in the cycle of loft to green, watch it roll back 30 yards, over and over! Yep, a nightmare hole for me. Par is like an eagle. I have had it roll back down the hill at least 10 times out of the 30 or so I have played it. Worst one was it lipped the hole as a wedge spun back a little and it never stopped. Went from being a possible eagle to the ball lying back down in front of my feet as if I never hit the ball in the first place. So now I am scared to death of that hole over any others I have ever played. If you fly your second past the hole to be safe, then you got one scary putt coming back down the hill and not stopping. IF you try to leave it in front of the hole then you easily can come up short and it go back down the hill or spin back down off the green. Just no winning on that hole. It sucks!

Hole 17 at Crawford. Cant hit a 3 wood and hold the green. Cant hit a 5 wood at the flag and make the green. I lost a tourney there because of that hole.

If I remember rightly hole 17 is the long par 3 and you can hold the green with a 3 wood. Granted I didn't have a strong wind but the green slopes in a way that you will never run through unless you have a big wind behind your back.

^^^^ tell me about it lol, took double there today... Got stuck on the slope and couldn't hit the ball Did that in the PGA tour earlier this year...thought I could just flop it up the hill from the base and be on the green...but it's too steep. Didn't learn my lesson until the 3rd try. You have to hit it back toward the fairway and then back to the green. Took a nice 7 or 8 and dropped out of the top10. Sorry this happened to you...but I know you're still a lock for the top tours Wendy!
