I just cannot find the fairway off the 8th tee on Copper Creek, which leads to a bogey or worse every time. This is my hardest hole.
What is everyone else's hardest hole in their opinion?

not a big fan of the 2nd on copper creek, no matter how much club i go down it still manages to run through past the hole to leave me a monster putt.

Yes, that is another really tough hole...probably even tougher to birdie than 8...but harder to blow up too.

Yea, was thinking 2 on Copper, but I think 4 on Copper is the toughest. You have to hit it in the narrow channel between the ponds. Then if you manage that you have a 3/4 iron into a very small green. While #2 can make birdie very hard it rarely yields double or worse. 4 can mess up your entire round.

Might throw out the 6th at Crawford Mines just to raise awareness!
Those that go big off the tee will have a Loft Wedge or less in - problem is the hole is in the front of the green that slopes back down the false front. Any amount of spin is going to cause you grief. If you lay back with a 5w or 3i and hit in with a 9i or 8i, you'll have much better luck sticking it without ending up in the cycle of loft to green, watch it roll back 30 yards, over and over!

It all depends on how strong the wind is. Sometimes you may have to use the driver but that is only in situations where you have strong winds into face.

Has anyone else had false break lines/reads from the new Copper Creek pin placements, I had 3 last night?

they are usually from valleys - two slopes meeting somewhere in the middle of the grid box - the dominating slope wins the day - that's why you don't see multiple dots in one box colliding to show the various slopes within a grid. You have to take into account the surrounding slopes and figure that into the equation.

The tee shot on Kodiak's 18th eats my lunch.

I thought 6 on Crawford was a given. It was discussed to be changed due to these issues as noted. But yes, it would be at or near the top of my list as well.

Unfortunately, CSU has been busy and unreachable, so it's still in its original form.

I've played and cursed enough on the 6th at Crawford to never forget that strong slope. 3I is the play for me

18 on Son Gual is ridiculous IMO. Too long for the physics of the game, and requires you to lay up off the tee. Unless I'm missing a secret portal or warp zone to the lower fairway, in which case, I take it all back.
