I'm posting this as I've only came across 2 Irish course on was a designers idea of what an Irish course would be and although I really liked it, it wasn't a real course.
The other was well, I quit on the second.
Is there any out there that you know of or is anyone willing to take on the challenge to make one?
I've played many great Irish course and haven't played outside of Wicklow and would love to see one recreated on tgc.
Druids glen Druids Heath Macreddin golf club The K club Mount Juliet Killarney Fota Island
Just to name some of the top of my head. Asking for greystones delgany or charlesland my local course would be a bit of an ask but I'd appreciate to the degree of a spot on web tour for any of the above to be brought to life on tgc.
Thank you and hopefully one of you skilled designers will take this task on.

What couple of courses are you talking about??? I made a fictional Irish based course called Royal Ballylough, I based it on the looks of Royal Portrush, one of my favourite links courses, if not favourite links course. If you've yet to play it then go check it out, I'd love to see Royal Portrush recreated, won't be me tho haha

The Killarney course isn't the real one although I agree it's really good. A proper test on a bad day it will drive you mad!

With the seaside and the hilly back 9 it could be pretty fun to play in TGC. I think it would have to have a bit of artistic licence though as it's been a couple years since I played there.

Feng187 would be the happiest man alive if you done that! Nantez tryed to make Greystones from memory done a decent job for one of his first courses.

Ha ha Moe, I'd love to see some recreations of Irish courses but not Charlesland, I may live in the area but I never liked the course that much compared to Delgany or Greystones, they are too short for recreations and would get eaten alive by the boys on here. I'd love to see the top designers have a go at the likes of: The European Club, Baltray, Waterville, Ballybunion, Royal county Down, Royal Portrush, Portmarnock, Druids Glen, Mount Juliet, Old Head I'd love to have a go myself but I wouldn't do them justice, some of the designers on here are amazingly talented and some of their home brews are top notch.
