Congrats on the exemptions guys, now get the hell out of D so I can finish higher up the list lol. How I avoided a strike with a +2 is beyond me but I'll take it. Got to say to who ever has been picking the last couple/few courses you have done a great job. Thank you. Some may not be the kind of courses I would casually play, aesthetically or what not. But to see the winning scores in the -20's and not -40 has been refreshing. I may finish lower on the leader board with some of these courses, but I also know it's a reasonable possibility that I can get that one tournament that puts me in contention. I'm just not consistent enough to shoot -10 four rounds in a row in a tournament setting. The designers of these courses have done a great job too by not tricking up the courses with ridiculous blind shots, trees and hazards in the way etc. It's all been on the greens. And not overly hard greens, just tough enough to make one work for a birdie and punish you if you mis judge your putt. Well done and thanks as well. If you like these sorts of courses, as I do, then I'd appreciate it if you could find the time to play the course I've just released. I need some feedback on it, so I can do some tweaking and hopefully get it into the tour. Have a look for la siesta lakes resort, Maroc. Cheers

Lol, sometimes irony can be really ironic at the most unusual times. I just resigned from the reviewer position yesterday. It was a long time coming, just couldn't bring myself to do it, I'm not one to quit anything or let anyone down. But I found the position just wasn't for me. Found it to be a tough position to be in to critic someones work when they have spent hours/days/weeks or even months on. Not to mention I need/want to focus my TGC time on improving my game play and work up the ranks, which means playing upcoming tournament courses and practicing them. I digressed there lol. I will however play your course and give my honest opinion, I won't rip it apart though lol. I may get to it later today or definitely tomorrow, going to do a quick run through of Jim's tune up for next week then I'm off to the designer myself. I have one I have been working on for a while now and last night it came to me to re work a hole from the ground up, just wasn't happy with the way it was coming out so I'm nuking the hole (and probably the next one too) and redoing it. Just had a look outside and its cold and there is volcanic ash all over the place so I'm just staying in the warmth and farting around in The Golf Club. Retirement has it's advantages lol. I've written your course down and stuck it on the bottom of my keyboard so I wont forget. Cheers Didn't know you were a reviewer, I'm in trouble now haha. I started designing the course to give myself a relaxing time before going to bed. Boy was that a mistake, you end up lying in bed thinking if I do this to that hole, change that tee etc. Then spend a couple of hours tossing and turning lol

No worries from me now, I'm an ex reviewer lol. I saw your post in the course forum and from the pics it looks to be a very nice course. Will be on it tomorrow for sure. I'm off to the designer in a few minutes. I'm doing mine in the rustic theme myself, but been considering switching to boreal for the ferns. And totally hear you about lying in bed thinking about your course, thats what happened to me last night and has prompted me to redo at least two holes. I'm kind of eager to get at them to see if I can put whats in my mind onto the canvas so to speak. Didn't know you were a reviewer, I'm in trouble now haha.
