Looks good. These new textures are so much better than the old ones.

this new theme is quite disappointing, does "Rural" not mean countryside? While it looks nice I feel HB is starting to release very similar themes already, to me this new one looks almost the same as boreal and links would be nice to have some variety especially since they said we will be able to use all the trees and grasses due to the new packaging system that doesn't tie them to theme ....guess we'll have to wait another 2-3 months with all the new courses being created looking almost exactly like the ones that are coming out now in boreal to get a theme that isn't so similar to the others (you would think that having a variety of different themes instead of pumping out ones that look almost identical would be the priority, I guess this is why they didn't want to tell us right away) but im not holding my breath and this has nothing to do with a "tropical" theme could care less about that.. I hope this isn't indicative as to the content updates that we will be getting now some of these decisions HB are making now are kind of mind boggling to me although being able to finally remove those ball washers and golfbags is nice (cough took long enough cough )

while I agree the first months have been great, I guess I was the only one that assumed that this new theme wouldn't be similar to 2 or 3 of the others, the new theme at least to me is biggest part of these updates so to release one that is similar to ones we have especially when they've stated that the trees and grass wont be tied to themes anymore just seems asinine. Again, this has nothing to do with a tropical theme, I could care less about that, but with that being said at least that would have been something new that we don't have. I do like this theme as I loved the boreal one but, I didn't see anyone asking for this theme but I saw a tonne of other suggestions (even some besides tropical) on the forums just makes you wonder if these were already pre-set and they were unwilling to change them. Don't get me wrong still love the game (aside from frame rate issues)and the studio has been great so far just some of these decisions leave a bad taste in my mouth

I think the ability to choose how green the grass is would be great. Specifically when using the desert theme. I find that the desert theme is a little too stark and there is not enough contrast between grass and general surroundings. Look at TPC Scottsdale Champion Course for instance. www.worldgolf.com/photo-galleries/images/preview/36174.jpgHaving an option to have lush green grass in the desert theme would bring life to a lot of courses.
