I'm glad everyone is enjoying the course. It's amazing how good the courses are now that everyone is making! I can't wait to see where we will be in a few years.

Yes...thank goodness for a great forum and community so we can find the best of the best. I do wonder how many great courses have been made that have no recognition...and is there a way to find them.

yeah ... by someone playing threw the 34,800+ made courses ... there are probably 20 per day are published to the servers ... they would need to be played, categorized and listed by someone that could rate them fairly, based on the course's merits and not how one felt about the course after having one bad round. All subjective depending on who's judging the course. Lots of them first timers, not knowing how to publish their course the first time, plenty of them are TEST courses (multiple versions of a on-going course under development) ... which seems like a waste of server space (but that's a personal opinion - and I do understand why it's done, but since we cannot delete them - I'm opposed to it). Heck I wish I could delete more than half of the courses I published! as I am embarrassed every time I see them ... Having said that, everyone has the right to start somewhere, and it is a learning curve to using the GNCD. Basically, HB need to monitor the server and if a course has had < a preset number of plays in a given 30 day period, the get archived and removed off the main servers ... then if not played in 90 days, deleted (but allowing the creator a chance to save his course on his own local system). Seems like one of the only feasible ways I could think of, the other HB refuses to allow, and that is grant the creator the right to delete their own course. This seems to be a taboo topic ...

I'm with you Dawg, but server space, believe it or not but the course files only take up 200kb or so, I forget where they are stored on your computer, but I had to email protee a course file and was surprized at how small the file was. Even the smallest of servers costing only a few hundred dollars could handle several billion course files.
I would like to be able to delete all my earlier works as well.

Yeah, I was over-exaggerating the point ... every byte counts, and every bit of a nibble helps save a word ... (Digital humor) But, if you were to attempt to scroll through the thousand of pages in the Public Course menu ... It will rapidly get old. There needs to be a better way to find courses .. yes, you can type in a text search ... but that isn't always going to be intuitive ... so ... we wait and see ...

I've always wondered how many top tier courses we will never see. I have found this forum a great source of finding courses also.
