Hey guys! As you all know i have moaned and moaned at how bad i am at putting .....but it astonishes me at how good some people are at getting the right line and the right speed too.....all the time! I have tried many things but none of them seem to be consistent but when i have ghosts in my rounds they just make putt after putt. (every round)

It's a confidence thing. Also, in practice rounds I not where I am missing.. high side or low side. That helps me to know how that particular courses' greens are playing for my style. I try to adjust to it.
Even still, putting is the most precise and finicky part of this game outside of 7 or so feet (with break).
Within the same tournament I may have round where I putt very well on later to have a round where my putts frustratingly miss lip out or just high/low side where if I aimd my marker a foot more or less I would have likely made it.
The trick is not to let it get to you. Soldier on and try to make the adjustments as you go I guess.
Putting is the best and the hardest part of this game (outside of 10 feet or so I suppose), but also the most rewarding.

I usually attribute putting as one of my strengths. However it seems the last week or so I've really struggled. I think it's because the last couple of courses have been on fast greens with a lot of slopes and I've really struggled with pace, and particularly uphill ones as I keep blasting them past the hole. Just played a round and putted a lot better. You just need one of those rounds where you get the pace of the greens. All you can do is keep practicing and find a technique that works for you.

I have been trying to get the speeds down for certain distances and i am really getting used to it now. Whenever i miss i seem to be level with the hole whereas i used to go past the hole by 3 or 4ft sometimes which just isnt good enough. Every now and then i will hole a really long putt. This is all down to knowing the power i need for that distance. It has all paid off so far in my first two rounds over on the LGGT Tour. -12 and -14 at Mahogany National. I would also like to say i have become way more calm when playing because of how much more confident i am with my putting. For example, say i hit an average approach from 120 yards to say 15ft and it has a bit of break i would normally worry about not making it but because of this practice i know i may hole it which leads to me not raging as much
