Hey all, So I produce the weekly wrap-ups with Irving. I have also done a few montages and course playthroughs. I love TGC and I have been meaning to try and get a Monthly or Weekly series started, showcasing the best shots from the TGC community.
So the idea is to start of with Top 10 Shots of the month. If this goes well and I get a lot of clips submitted I will switch it up to weekly or fortnightly. Maybe do a montage at the end of the month. It would be great to get as many players shots as possible. I'll commentate to start with. Show your player name etc.
A few ways to submit clips would be to upload to youtube or a filesharing site and drop me a link here in this thread. My preferred method for steam users would be to save your shot ingame. Then allow me to add you on steam so I can record the clip in the highest possible quality/frame rate. This obviously won't be applicable for console users as I don't own either of the new consoles. So yt or filesharing would be required.
So if you have some awesome shots please drop a link below or reply so I can add you on steam. Lets see how this goes. I aim to get best shots of December up for first week in January. I will push this forward if I get lots of submissions.
No requirements really. Holes in ones, albotrosses, long eagles, weird or lucky bounces. That kinda thing. Also they don't have to be on tour events, They can be in any gamemode or practice round.
Thanks for reading and I look forward to seeing some awesomeness.

Argh. Should have saved my 200+ yard eagle on #11 in round 3 then. That was epic in my book.

Hmm. Why didn't I think of that. I'll head back and record it I think.

Nice, saw your thread but I don't want to take people clips without permission. Thanks for submitting.

Here is a super-not-exciting Hole in One. But it was my first one ever in this game. 500+ rounds in practice and the tour and this is the first time it actually went in. Hole in One - Yaters - Web.com tournamentSorry - not in a place to make this a nice video submission. Not even sure how to get it out of the Xbox system....

I also have saved a bunch on my xbox by just double tapping the icon and hitting record that. Can anyone walk us through getting that to this thread?

I did a little searching - try watching this video. Should guide you on how to do this. Let me know how it goes and I shall add it to the initial post for other xbox one users. Thanks for the info gdog but those videos cover the scenario of using a Windows based machine for XB1 videos. I actually use a Mac myself. There are sites like Xboxclips.com where captured video is easily accessible on the web. But I can't figure out how to link to it. Someone mentioned in another thread awhile ago about using Youtube in the XB1 system, but I haven't been able to figure that one out.

Little bit of a pain in the butt, but now that I understand that process, not too bad.
Basically you need a couple of things on XB1. 1) Upload Studio and 2) Youtube App. However, you really only need the upload studio if you want to edit together clips you've made.
Using the Youtube App, you sign in, select from the clips you have saved, and it uploads to Youtube which is a supported format here on the boards.

Great, Gdog! I really like that, and I hope you get enough attention for it.
So let me throw in a few shots I had lately:
