Still quite a ways out on this one, but I thought I would start doing some periodic hole walkthroughs. This series of pictures is from the First hole on the East 9. (The England 9) View from the tee box. 446 yards from start to finish with a retaining wall river dividing the fairway. Green is off in the distance to the right. First landing area before the river. This landing area presents a safe option for the golfer in case they don't feel confident enough to make the river on the drive. A 3 or 5 wood, depending on wind should be enough to reach this "safe" area, however it does leave a 170-200 yd shot up hill. Second landing area after the river. Should be reachable in most wind conditions but it is guarded by a narrow landing area and a sizeable bunker. If navigated correctly, the golfer is left with a 120-150 approach shot instead. Green looking back, although the sloping on the green isn't finished. A goal of mine for this course was to get holes as close to each other as possible, so that other holes become part of the scenery. To the left of this shot you can see an unfinished par 5, the #4 hole on the East 9. Finally an overview of the hole to wrap up. Here you can also see an unfinished river, the unfinished #4 and the unfinished #5 on the East 9. I'll be posting more hole walk throughs later. Hope these are looking good to you!

From the Tee, a long par 5 with 585 yards to the tee. A split fairway with plenty of hazards in the middle and on the outside to make you think. Both landing areas are shown here. The hump in the middle, past the sand where the two fairways meet sits at around 280, which is reachable with a slightly elevated tee box, however most wind conditions will force you to pick a direction off the tee. The easier landing area is at the top of the picture (left off the tee). It is a little wider and leaves more landing room length wise. However the second shot makes it much more difficult to reach green in 2 with favorable winds. The harder landing area is to the bottom, where the landing area narrows. However, if you land here successfully it provides a straight shot to green. Reverse view from Green. A few landing areas to choose from in front of the green, but all in all an easy uphill set of approach shots, provided your Tee Shot didn't get into danger. A goal of this course is to show off the other holes on the course and use them as scenery. This overview shows, starting from top left and going clockwise, Hole #3 on the South 9, Tee Box #2 on the South 9, Green #1 on the south 9, and Tee Box #8 on the East 9. All visible from this #7 hole. Finally, an overview of this hole. Visible in this shot is #3 on the South 9, #6 on the East 9, and the #5 Green on the East 9. Cheers
