Shame he looks like jason statham after a stroke. Boxing has gone to the dogs. I must say, even though I'm glad he win, NONE of them now could live with the Greatest in the ring. I remember listening to the rumbles in the jungle with my granddad in the early 70's

I remember listening to the rumbles in the jungle with my granddad in the early 70's It's completely different now though. It's like comparing Pele and Messi and saying which is better... You can't have that argument as they are different eras where their strengths matched up to what was key in their eras. Pele playing today would be shite and Messi playing then would be shite... And he would probably have his leg broken every other week...

Messi's unbeleivable ability is no doubt suited better to this generation but to say he wud be sh%$ in Pele's era is just daft. Its easy to see in any sport that we can grasp when someone is genuinely world class. In the same way its easy to see when the standards hav dropped to an unprecedented level.

none of the football players would last 10 minutes playing with the Division 1 teams from the 70's, mind you 1/2 the players from the 70's wouldn't stay on the field. Red cards galore

Fair play to Tyson Fury!! He backed up what he said he was going to...become the heavyweight champion of the world!! He came in with a gameplan and executed to such effect that poor old Wlad was completely clueless as to how to stamp his authority..Wasn't a classic fight by any means but why should Fury care!!.. Take a bow Tyson!!.. You deserve to be champ!

The point was you can't compare players from different eras. The rest is just collateral.
