So both Beta's are basically behind us. I think it is interesting (and could use some deeper analysis) that the final scores were higher in the beta 2, but really want to talk about attendance
So the Q school field (and member list) have 600 users. Only 300 played on each of the beta's. If we are talking about 250 on top tours, 200 more on Web, we are looking at 500+ active members to have attendence on all the tours.
Do you think half the members are just waiting for Q school? Some certainly might be. Is there going to be some email reminders or similar to get people invested in Q school? Just thinking out loud. |

Yes there will be emails sent out frequently once we lead into q-school.
I'm wondering the same as you nick bu in the end we'll adjust to the numbers that play. I have a feeling we'll get a pile of players after it starts. Fingers crossed but I think we'll get the numbers we need to pull it all off.

Oh I agree with a year round league, we will get people joining all the time. Even if the web tour does not fill up initially for some reason, I think it will over the next few months. This league will have a good deal of ebb and flow as it goes on (year over year), as well as the core hundreds who are here every week.

If there are 300 members playing the first tournament then I would expect around 200 to be still playing at the end of the year from previous experiences of other leagues and real life situations.
The challenge for the team running this will be to fill those 100 slots with new members who commit week in week out.

I do think Q school will be above 300... With 600 members, I bet we get 75% (450)...

I'm guessing we will have more people joining after Christmas time- as Xb1 sales and PS4 sales will jump, and there may even be a good deal for the game on Steam. Where will all the new players go who miss the Q-school but want to play?

Where will all the new players go who miss the Q-school but want to play? Currently they will have to go to Champions Tour and work their way up. Once we see what the participation numbers look like we'll likely have an admin sitdown to iron out the details. It will be a priority to keep the tours filled which may mean some adjustments along the way. |

I didn't have a chance to play beta 2, I was a bit busy. I'm curious what happens if I can't finish Q-School? Where would I end up at? I Just Had eye Surgery yesterday and can't see well from distance so not sure if i'll get 6 rounds in..Thanks..
