I think a penalty for those who falsely accuse may scare people away from getting involved in regulation. I'm not sure if it's the best way to go. I never check or report except for once but I'm sure many people reported that one. All you guys who are very good at this game could take it as a compliment when someone who doesn't understand the reality make these claims. Granted I don't know how much time these false claims take from the guys running this for us but in reality if you've spent time online you know there are many clowns who just need to be ignored. As for those sad grown men who need to cause this nonsense by not following the rules, Well what can be said. I wish I got accused of cheating never gunna happen, but if I did I'd have some fun with it. Well much like the community wishes to rid itself of those whom have an advantage, it also should rid itself of the 'clowns' as you put it. Integrity runs both ways here, if you wsh the people whom have used the Hori etc to give up thier ways then those who feel the need to cast aspersions have to back it up. I don't take their whinging as a back handed compliment, if in the future I was to recieve a msg like the one that Nevada did then I would like to think the recourse would be in the tours which it has an impact, report it to Sony and what are they going to do? Also those whom have used the offending equipment that are now using stock controllers are going to be under constant scrutiny and that will not be enjoyable for them, take the guy that was dq'd because of this thread, where does he go if redemption is sought? There has to be a point where all doubt is eliminated, I know the internet is the place where most things come to die including integrity but you can't have have it both ways.

Anquila I agree 100% that if people are abusive those who are offended should not have to put up with it and if the offender is in the tour IMO they should be banned permanently. To me people who abuse over games are clowns, I try not to take them seriously. For those that do follow the tours rules for controllers even if they weren't before, then providing nobody abuses them is it an issue even if they are watched by people every swing? If there isn't anything to report they can't report. Maybe warn then penalise serial report offenders and ban abusers? I just thought there may have been a suggestion for penalties for any incorrect reporting which I feel may stop some from getting involved. I'm sure many top players are and will be under constant scrutiny from the people that are suspicious whether they know it or not. Just to be clear, my shot at the people who are breaking rules is purely for those that know the rules then try everything possible to get past them as things evolve. I don't think people by and large will hold grudges against players who change their ways, I know I won't. Many I'm sure are still damn good without aid and it's healthy to have them there.
