"Politics"? By what standard was that politics? Seriously as an administrator i would have thought you would have understood where i was coming from..To say that i am horrified as to what has happened in Paris is really meaningless....Horrified, disgusted........YES....I believe that all good folks around the world are.............However, when you open the door..........bugs crawl in....... This is after all, first and foremost a golf site....My thoughts are.......Why?? open a door and let the bugs crawl in...That's it.........Cheers PS..i do understand that this is an "Off Topic" thread, still............JMHO.....

And I'm sure it will be dealt with if it starts turning into politics talk.

I totally agree.
As long as (some) people are interested in doing so and they keep it within a certain level of speech, I see no reason not to talk about political topics.

Ok so i am going to chip in with some politics which may seem controversial. The attacks in paris were disgraceful and i dont condone any act of terrorism on any race of people, but why didn't we have this level of social response when the bombing of Ankara happend in Turkey? Why didn't our media cover this like they have in Paris? Turks are human beings after all, doesn't it matter as much because they are muslims? I feel these questions should be raised as western media continues to become more biased and agenda orientated.

Generally I agree. The western countries have the tendency to conceal things like that. We all know there are massive bomb attacks on a daily basis in Syria for example, with a huge number of people dying or being badly injured.
But I'm quiet sure that any turkish/muslim media covered news on the Ankara bombing as extensive as BBC, CNN or any other well-known western media now does on the terror in Paris/Europe!
I think that's just the way it goes. That does not mean I do agree with it.
