Hi All, Just wanted to put this out there with the hope of getting some tips. Firm greens have always been my Achilles heel in this game. I find holding them with approach shot difficult (almost impossible!!) & my normally reliable chipping game falls to pieces when the greens are running.
Any help, advice, tips would be great!!

Give enough distance for the bounce and rollout, see if the approach is going to hit a downslope or upslope. An upslope will slow your ball down, a downslope will knock it on a lot. Try and loft your approach shot so it dies quicker. Look where the rollout will take the ball. You want to try and feed it towards your given target.

Beside what Luke just said, it's all/most about PRACTICE, PRACTICE & SOME MORE PRACTICE!
It's really difficult on firm greens, but you're getting better and better the more often you play under those conditions.
