When I load up a tgctours tournament it always seems to say "easiest" difficulty. What does this relate to?
When i look at the course as made by the designer it may say : firmness-medium,difficulty-medium. Are the courses setup differently for tour play?
Is there a way to see for example the firmness of the greens for the tournament setup? Any help would be appreciated.

Difficulty doesn't really mean much in game, I think it's just taken from the average score of people who've played the course. If it is a tour course then lots of strong players will play it, so the difficulty will drop to easiest pretty quickly.
There's no way currently to tell in-game whether a course is firm or not until you actually hit a stroke and you can tell from the first hole.
Otherwise, if you check the course on the course database on TGCTours.com it should tell you the firmness of the course.

Thanks for the reply, I have been struggling to get up and down with my chipping. After messing around with green firmness in the GNCD I now realise that this has as much an impact on distance, as green speed does. When every putt over 6 foot is a struggle, every inch closer to the hole with the short game helps!!
