It is interesting to me to learn a little bit about the course I'm setting foot on. I think it may be neat for the course designer to generate a description/fun facts/etc for the courses chosen for each tour. I would love to read a little blurb about the course.
Having a course logo for each course would be icing on the cake!

Give Thompson Fields a try, we have a logo ... add it to your practice rounds.

Both of those are nice logos.

Logos? we need no stink'n logos for a good course ... There are plenty of new ones that recently released ... depending on what your preference is ... TasteGW just released a winner- although it's only 9 holes at the present Pekerwood is a Boreal themed course, Oaks of Westchester is a Autumn themed course by Reebdoog (a very nice course) ... both are easily difficult but greens are fair and not excessive in the break.
And I cannot go without plugging Balliwick ... A alpine themed (IIRC) and is expertly done by GuitarDude and JWFickett and last but not least, I have two fairly nice and easy courses as well ... Ceder Creek (a boreal themed course) and Seagull Isle golf Links Audubon edition ... also not a bad course if you like a links style course ...
