We felt we needed to recognize three members for their contributions. Some obvious, some not so obvious.
Vic Campbell (Karma4u) - pretty much every course picture you see posted in our database was taken by Vic. He goes out of his way to post pics of other people's courses in both ours and HB's forums and we the admin never hear a peep from him unless he's either stumbled upon a diamond in the rough or, sometimes, a turd in the fairway (not sure what the opposite of diamond in the rough is!). Either way, he deserves all the praise we can heap on him so with that said he will earn an above&beyond trophy card for Season 1!
Darcy Greenwood (dubsonic) - pretty tough into tricking your graphics guy into making his own trophy card! There's nothing we haven't thrown at Darcy that he hasn't hit out of the park. Between all the trophy cards, logos (TGCT live, podcast) he's been kept busy over the entirety of season 1. I know many of you have yet to see a card in your trophy case but know that when it does happen it will look really cool and be the work of sir dubsonic!
Nic Zaiser (misternic) - He produced all our weekly wrapups for Season 1 while also producing some live shows in what would eventually bloom into TGCT Live! Plus he had to deal with Irving for a whole season - should be an award for that alone! Nic wore many hats and will now concentrate on his real passions - TGCT Digest & the TGCT Podcast. Can't have an above&beyond with out Nic so congrats and thanks for all the man-hours you committed to season 1! Sorry you didn't make it into the TGCT Live broadcast as with most things - it seems sometimes we forget you're volunteering and not one of the admin getting paid buckets of something to do what you do!
