Wondering if I'm going to make the cut at -4. Edit: Removed all individual round scores. I'll post those in the spoiler thread. 1. I think cut will be over par - you should be plenty safe 2. this is now the spoiler thread so go ahead and repost scores if you'd like.

Okay, well that was the most frustrating piece of bs. Wondering if I'm going to make the cut at -4. R1 was probably the most fought under-par round I've had in this game. The one thing that absolutely pissed me off was on the 71st hole. 5 ft for birdie, hit the cup, and it flies 21 ft away from the cup. I then proceed to go over the lip 3 more times until settling for a 6. I never thought I'd 5 putt a hole, especially when I'm 5 ft away in the beginning. Regardless, I played terribly. Edit: Removed all individual round scores. I'll post those in the spoiler thread. Edit 2: Now this is a spoiler thread! R1: 69 (-2) R2: 69 (-2) R3: 63 (-8) R4: 68 (-3) Total: 269 (-15) Five feet away from birdie on the 71st thinking I might be able to reach -20 for the tournament. And then everything just fell apart. Oh well, on to next week. Lemme put you in persepctive. I finished t-13 and solo 4th first two weeks. You just handed me my ass this week. You belong up here. It will happen sooner or later.

I played real scores. If I make the cut I am mid-pack if not back end.
+1 -3 -4 +2 for a total of -4

I am not against hard courses in fact generally play better against the field on them then the -12 under courses. Love the thinking around this course. Once you play a few rounds you see the lines better. No grip it and rip it with driver every hole. THAT being said, I think there are a couple of pins on the A and D that are in pretty tough spots. I had a putt on 14 from above (A setup) that briefly stopped 2 inches past the hole but then kept trickling. 25 seconds later I was off the green.... I know the answer I made a note for myself, dont hit it above the hole, but still. 14 again on D is tough. And 14 is not a short iron approach. You can make a handful of birdies here, it is the bogeys you have to avoid by knowing where to miss.

Now that is a case of a brutal pin that is designed to just kill scores and destroy hopes and dreams.

Well, trying to stay near the top of the leaderboard, last round I hit the water, ended up one behind hammo on the PS4. Tried to get too cute with some massive fade around a tree, oh well, it was fun, and tough. I had a couple get up from my chair and walk around talking to myself moments, but I enjoyed the challenge from this beast of a course.

All I can say is I prevented S.D. from winning. Now on to T.D.

All I can say is I prevented S.D. from winning. Now on to T.D. Boo! looks like you had a solid round going so wouldn't be surprised if you nab it. Still think it'll take a 30-under round to win.

And history was made as someone recorded a legitimate 41 on Cuyahoga. In response, that player has automatically won TGCT player of the year.

These types of courses are so much better than the 50 under birdiefests we've played the first 2 weeks. You actually have to think your way around the course, you can't be on autopilot.
When your entire thought process on a course can be reduced to: -driver down the middle -throw dart -make putt
That course is boring. That course does not test the skill of the best players. That course does not reward a clever player for executing a nuanced game plan.
Thankfully, this is not that course.

67-63-66-66 = -22
Not as pathetic play as the first two weeks, but still some rookie mistakes. These greens are sneaky fast especially if you get too aggressive trying to chip in with the green running away.
Hopefully a top 10. Definitely didn't feel like I earned a top 10 last week.

A setup practice before I go out there and play my round or rounds. 8 birdies, 1 bogey for -7. Gonna go shoot the actual round. No way I am hitting everything near perfect like that again. I would be quite happy for -7 for the tournament! Would this have been because I showed you where NOT to hit it? Got to be perfect with chips on some holes, or just take a par rather than thinking to birdie every hole. Also, that Hole #5 on B Setup is ruthless.
