Just got done with my first tournament in CC-D and had solid score, under par until round 4. That round totally killed me with the wind. I'm just shocked to see so many players ranked at or close to -20 in CC-d. It is either that I am that horrible or those guys need be playing in the PGA or web tours. I was hoping for a little more even competition for where I got ranked. That is my rant for the day lol

The good news about the CC tours is the players are constantly shuffled around to the appropriate tier. So I wouldn't sweat week 1 too much.
For reference, on the PGA tour this week it's looking like you need to shoot -18 after two rounds, just to make the cut.

That is my rant for the day lol Scott This is just your first tournament, over time you will find yourself in the right place for your level. On top of that, the more you play, the more likely you will be putting good scores up as well. Make sure you play a few practice rounds on the course of a up and coming tournament, it does help. When first started, I was on the bottom tier, I worked my way up a few levels, got myself demoted one level. It may take a little time but you will get there. Most important thing is to have fun, don't worry about leader boards for a while, just focus on your own game. Soon you will see people shooting scores like unlike your own. Make them a rival, have a little mini competition with yourself and their scores. Small personal goals at the start before moving on to bigger things. A lot of people will have been playing for awhile, more accustomed to reading the winds, the breaks, that will all come to you as well. Good luck next week and for the rest of the season.

Thanks for the advice. For some reason I thought I was going to be a little better but I guess my experience before tgctours comes from playing against my 4 year old son which gave me a false confidence He is still better at the chip shot than me.
