Week 14: Marazion Golf Club

Welcome to Week 14 of the Speed Golf.

This week we will be playing Marazion Golf Club*, by pyates. This "tropical" themed course is set in "sunny" Cornwall, England. A picturesque course, it has a few tricky pins on the back nine, so don't say I didn't warn you!

You can find the challenge under Tours, named "speed-golf-w14".

PS: Speed Golf now has improved round timing! Your time starts when you hit your first stroke, and ends when you hole the 18th! Tell your friends! (especially on consoles)
We still have the warmup hole for a) tradition and b) backup timing.

This course was lovely - a shame I had to play through it so quickly!

So many undulating greens, watching your ball roll and roll is so frustrating playing speed golf!

Shot +2 in about 16 minutes, not great!

For the first time I ever, I had a better score than iChaoz, by two strokes even! Unfortunately, he'll probably more than make up for it with a 13 minute time to my middling 16.

-5 in approx 18:05, this was undoubtedly my fastest round...BUT I made a mess of no.3 the par 5, my third shot was closer to the 8th flag and I made several attempts to putt up a 4ft hill. I think I went from 1:30ish after 2, to almost 4:00 after 3. It's a funny old game

Almost forgot to play the event this week... I shot -12 (59?) in about 14:20, so this round wasn't quite as good as last week's, but I'm still very happy with it. Hopeful for at least a high finish or maybe squeaking out another win.

Jesus obelisk how are you so good!? Lol I only got -2 20 odd mins.

Loved this course hats off to the designer, shame I couldn't enjoy it properly, might play it again later.

I was happy with my -8 in around 14:50 especially as it included a double on one of the par 3's early on. I really should play all of my golf like this. No time for self doubt!!!
