So moving to web.com there's a couple of things I'd like to work on going forwards. The main thing is learning to hit a 95% shot with the D, 3w and 5w. So any tips as I sure can't figure it out? The other thing is side hill lies but looking through the forum this seems a bit random anyway... It seems when I compensate the ball's not affected and if I don't compensate... Well guess what.. It curves off...

Would love to know this too! First hole at doak valley was the bane of my existence last week. Side hill lies each round, missed 2 left because it didn't effect and missed 2 right with one even in the water when it hit hard... Much too realistic to my real golf game!

One thing I've been doing to keep myself from accidentally going under 100% is to hold the peak of the backswing for 1/4 second before going forward. When I find myself rushing that hold, I end up with a sub-100% shot. Maybe you can experiment with that aspect of the swing.
Seems risky to ever rely on this type of shot though.

I do need to work on shots between the 3 iron and 5 wood. No pause at the top of the swing might be worth trying.

I'm horrible at this game so take my comments with a grain of salt. I played with this for hours a few months ago trying to get this.It is obvious that you have to shorten your back-swing to reduce power. When I waited a long time after a full back-swing or tried to slow the forward swing, I also had success, although it was wildly variable, thus becoming obvious that shortening the back-swing is the only way to consistently do this. That said, it was very difficult with the woods... A little easier with each higher lofted club. I was not consistent enough to stick with it. You PGA guys can probably get pretty good at this. My putting is atrocious, so I really need to keep working on that.
Driver8, I also have the same results on the side-hill lies. When I compensate for it, it's usually not needed, and when I don't, it goes off left or right. Go figure. If anyone has figured this out, I'd love to know the trick!

Since both of you are on XB1, it is as easy as taking the forward analog motion slightly slower than your normal forward flick. You will have practice this a few times but I can usually get 94% with a lighter forward flick.

Why not deloft it a bit to take some distance off, then just make a full swing? This could backfire when you deloft to 95. The lower angle of flight will make the ball skip across the green pass the fringe many times.
