Any big baseball fans on here? I was on holiday in Vegas and California in 2007 and started watching it on TV. The Post Season had just started. We wanted to go to a game but by the time we got to LA, the Dodgers and Angels were out, by the time we got to San Fran the Giants and A's were out. We ended up supporting the Mets. That was then my team. Since then I don't think they have figured in the post season once. Finally they've made it and have a decent team. Hopefully they can go all the way although personally I can't see past the Cardinals. I've not watched the Maple Leafs enough to comment on how good they are.
I've also picked up soft spots for the Cubs and also the Astros, mainly due to their poor form in recent years. I'm a sucker for the under dog.
I took out MLBTV for the post season, it cost about $12. Some nights I'm watching two games simultaneously, not always live with being in the UK. One on Apple TV and one on my PlayStation.
I love all of the stats and the tension, how a game can change with one hit. I'd love to see the MLB come to the UK like the NFL has. I'll have to wait until a possible family trip to Florida to see MLB in action otherwise..

Was at the Blue Jays game yesterday and watched them lose to the Yankees. 20+ years since they've been in the playoffs so they were a bit rusty

Pulling for the Cubs in the National League and Blue Jays in the American. Also enjoy watching the Astros.

Baseball is my favorite! I spend far to much time on OOTP Baseball.
Anywho, Blue Jays/Dodgers was my WS pick. That's not looking great.
Rooting for Astros or Mets.
Anyone but Royals, Cardinals or Rangers though is fine with me.
The NPBL playoffs are also going on but to bad my Chunichi Dragons suck.

Series going back to Wrigley on Monday. Down to a best of three series with Jake Arrieta on the bump for game three.

went to San Francisco 20 years ago, wanted to go to a game but the wife & mother in law were poorly so ended up with the kids instead. Started following the Yankees early 2000's. Love the game. I have 2 dreams to do with USA, 1 to watch a Yankees game in New York, & the other to watch a Falcons game in Atlanta.

Go METS. I don't think they can go all the way but I hope so. I realise I can't look at this much as I don't want to see any spoilers. I'm always a day behind (Some games don't start until after midnight in the UK) I don't know what happened last night.
I'm predicting Blue Jays and Royals to go through to join the Mets and Cubs so that probably hasn't happened!

No way jtrippuk, not a chance :-)
Gutted that the Mets lost but was really great to see them get that far, just not ready in the end. They have a young squad so hopefully they can come back stronger next year and go all the way.
I got my prediction right anyway.
