not directly related but I had to brag on us a little... We sold over 800 cars in December... that is INSANE. Really all that means is we'll have to sell one MORE next year to get GM bonus money. Sigh... it never ends. !!!

Maintenance/Engineering in the warehouse distribution industry. My company makes conveyor and sortation systems for large distribution centers. Some of our customers: amazon, home depot, lowes, target, Nike, Adidas. Ha. I wrote the interfacing software for rapiscan and commissioned the sortation systems in the tx, wy, and fl distribution centers for lowes. Was in distribution systems for 5 years until I decided I love web apps so much. Cool!

The company has grown so much recently it's keeping all of us very busy. Glad i decided to get into the industry when i did!

As a Finance manager at a car dealership... what is this "respect" you speak of?
HA!
I tell you what though. Cops DO deserve more credit. Crappy hours, everybody they talk to has a problem they need to deal with, danger...and boredom...and paperwork...and politics... Totally thankless.

hey I only take the money folks agree to give me. That makes it ok right? I'm not an evil guy if I just happen to take an extra 4 grand in back end products right? RIGHT!?! heh. Actually the regulations are such that it's full disclosure and no hidden anything. If someone is "hiding things" from you then they need to be fired and pay some SERIOUS fines. Also, when you need to move 600 a month to stay on pace you need folks to COME BACK and send their friends. Can't do that by fleecing folks. It's all about the long view baby.
