I'm a Camera Operator / Producer from Australia. I've worked my way up through corporate work for a few years and the moved into films and music videos for a while. Following that I took to the documentary style work, filming 4wd adventures all over Australia. Now I'm producing Training and Safety Films for a mining company in West Africa. In between all the work I produce creative stuff with a few buddies of mine, mostly sketch comedy films, here's one. Some of my work can be found on my vimeo page. Working in West Africa has allowed me to visit many communities over there and capture some images of how they live. Look forward to hearing what others get up to when they're not golfing! |

It's complicated, but I do Job Evaluation and Pay Equity. Essentially it is my job to show employers and the Unions that represent the employees how to evaluate jobs, place a numerical value to the employer on such jobs, then compare the remuneration of such jobs to determine if both internal equity and/or pay equity exists within their compensation schedules. In some jurisdictions in Canada, Pay Equity, (the determination if female dominated job classes are compensated appropriately)is governed by both Provincial and in some cases federal legislation.

Quality Control for various industries including; Defense, Medical, as well as Space and Engineering. I've found it interesting over the years, to see what companies say and what they actually do, and some of it is downright scary.Only problem with this type of work, is it makes you slightly anal to say the least, and that it bleeds off to life in general.

I'm a recruiter for a language services company in Manhattan. Basically I find interpreters or bilingual professionals to fill contracts my company holds with various businesses and government agencies. Exciting, I know.
But that is just what pays the bills. I'm a musician and a failed writer. Before coming back to the "corporate world" I dabbled in commercial music from the comfort of my home in Brooklyn. If you're at all curious you can find some of my samples at soundcloud.com/1000miles

I manage a software development team for an in house auditing software suite. Some of my team also does advanced support and debugging. I work for a big four accounting firm. My day mostly consists of reporting, trend analysis, and people management... but they let me work from home most of the time!
Also an aspiring (aka not yet commercially successful) novelist.

Uh... Trying to find meaningful employment post Army. Still don't quite understand civilians. Outwardly they say they want Vets, but I don't think they get us either. Now just joining as a volunteer for WWF...No, the other one...World Wildlife Fund
