The NAtional Weather Service defines gale force winds as 39–54 miles/hour. I haven't seen anything near that. I like the way the wind now works in tours and tournaments with the variance, but I am probably in the minority that am disappointed that they seemed to have capped it off and I have yet to see more than 16 mph. I didn't find 22 mph unbearable, nor do I think it is realistic that you will never see anything above the teens. That is just my opinion and I know I am in a small minority. I'm with you Bob. I preferred the older way albeit the higher wind rounds were too frequent. Now they are all but non-existent. It's gone the other way now. Disappointed.
Agreed as well, although I don't mind the new system as long as we do get some higher winds now and again as well.

63, 59, 62, 61 for me and I'm hoping this will remove my 1 strike. Very solid tournament for me. Only missed a couple of putts each round and maybe a few times the ball rolled off the fairway leaving it tough to reach the green. Other than that it was smooth sailing. Winds hit about 12 mph at most which I think is fine. Once you go above 14 or 15 mph the game becomes kind of unrealistic if those high winds happen on a regular occurrence.

I'm loving the new wind patch it's more realistic once in a blue moon you see wind of such gale on the pga,European tour in real life and in this game before the patch gale wind was the norm excruciating to play in, hell even in real life you will see the signs saying '' PLAY SUSPENDED DUE TO HIGH WINDS'' so hopefully I never see that horrid 22mph slightly cross wind, but in my face and the beloved flag flapping sound effects haha oh the glory days :-) The NAtional Weather Service defines gale force winds as 39–54 miles/hour. I haven't seen anything near that. I like the way the wind now works in tours and tournaments with the variance, but I am probably in the minority that am disappointed that they seemed to have capped it off and I have yet to see more than 16 mph. Ha ha did you actually check up that stat just to prove a point? Seriously though you know what he was getting at when referring to the wind speeds, the 22mph wind and the effect it has on the ball in this game is ridiculous at times, blowing 5 yard chips 6-8 feet left or right, that type of thing doesn't happen in real life. I agree with you though I do hope they have higher winds thrown into the variation sometimes just not a constant 22mph the whole round or the way it was before with nearly 15mph+ every tournament you play. Most of the elite players have learned how to adjust for the high winds anyway and it doesn't stop them scoring low but a lot of others find playing a round in high winds a chore and it would probably put newcomers to the game off as there is no fun. While not being in the elite bracket myself, I personally liked the challenge of the 22mph winds and managed to score in the -1 to +1 range.

Flawless first 36 holes of 60 and 58 to find myself atop the leaderboard. Followed with an underwhelming 63 and 66 to dive back into the pack!!!

I just finished up with 60-62-62-62. Very happy about the consistency but left a lot of putts out there I should have made. Stoked nonetheless!

Doak definitely plays a bit tougher.

Havent played much lately, finished -39 (68-64-62-56) thanks to a career best of 16 under par. It seems to be the course record as well! So even though its not a top 10 finish I'm really happy!
