You don't know what you had until it's gone... I actually miss the old wind At least when it was consistently 15 mph, you didn't feel the pressure to birdie every hole!! It was one of the only challenging parts of the game, even if it was a little unrealistic in terms of strength. Course was really easy but didn't suit my eye for whatever reason. Couldn't play a consistent four rounds and the 6th green kicked my ass repeatedly (if you haven't played it yet, don't go long!!). I'd say the winner will be around -55 or so... if it wasn't for my disastrous opening round 66 I think I could've given it a good shout. Anyways, I was delighted with rds 2 & 3. Shot 66-56-61-63 for -43, hopefully that's good enough for top 20. If you listen hard enough you can still hear that flag flapping around the 18th green of Fraxinus.ssshh oh HB bring her back for one tour for the laugh, get some double bogeys on the cards :-) haha. Yeah very good point the wind did really test the men from the boy's and you'd be happy to take par on any hole, now you make par and you know your losing a shot to the field

Just checked the API results and I got 100% GIR in round 1. I've never had 100% GIR on a tournament round before. Which makes my 28 putts feel that much crappier! Well done on the GIR :-) yeah I feel your pain mate those putts were hard to make the amount of 5 footers I missed was unbelievable 61,63,65,62 -37 for the week.absolute shocker 15 shots worse than last week

So I played the first round and submitted my score of -12, which was confirmed. Now when I go to play round two, it says round 1/1 and doesn't register that I even played a round.
Anyone know what the problem is?

Anyone know what the problem is? This is common in the tour mode. Even though it says 1/1, it is round 2 you are actually playing. (Unless you can actually load your ghost/see two of yourself on the leaderboard, at which point you actually started your round over again)

-12,-10,-9,-8 and finished with -39. Should've been -42 but I double bogied a par 5 in the third round.
Winds were tougher in the final round for sure.

Shot 3 consecutive -7's and a -8 (with a triple on 6). I know I should not be too happy with that, but last week was my first tournament and I shot horridly. Self esteem was low coming into this one and although I won't be top on the leaderboard, I showed some consistency and I left a lot of shots out on the greens with putting, so I know what I need to improve on. Can't wait for the next one!!!

I think I'm sitting -45 very many top that? I know there's got to be a few.

I'm loving the new wind patch it's more realistic once in a blue moon you see wind of such gale on the pga,European tour in real life and in this game before the patch gale wind was the norm excruciating to play in, hell even in real life you will see the signs saying '' PLAY SUSPENDED DUE TO HIGH WINDS'' so hopefully I never see that horrid 22mph slightly cross wind, but in my face and the beloved flag flapping sound effects haha oh the glory days :-) The NAtional Weather Service defines gale force winds as 39–54 miles/hour. I haven't seen anything near that. I like the way the wind now works in tours and tournaments with the variance, but I am probably in the minority that am disappointed that they seemed to have capped it off and I have yet to see more than 16 mph. I didn't find 22 mph unbearable, nor do I think it is realistic that you will never see anything above the teens. That is just my opinion and I know I am in a small minority.

64 - 61 - 60 - 66 total -37 struggled with putter for most of tournament much like quite a few others ...played all 4 rounds in a row ..wind for first 3 rounds was always in 6-8 mph , last round wind was strange in that wind was 5-9 mph range but was pushing ball much much more , more like 14 -16 mph range..

I preferred the older way albeit the higher wind rounds were too frequent. Now they are all but non-existent. It's gone the other way now. Disappointed.

Yeah but the physics of the ball flight is over exaggerated turning 22mph into gale that's all. I suppose it makes the game tougher which is good but most of the time its luck rather than skill, having to up 3 clubs add about a box of fade/ draw and hope for the best :-) Haha
