I did this up as I was interested in how I've performed overall in the CC division over the past month or so (since I only joined at the start of August) and having exemptions, moving up from CC-C to CC-A, its hard to really tell where you stand). Thought others might be interested for fun as well, especially since there aren't any exemptions to look forward to these last few weeks.
Basically I just dumped the CC-A, CC-B, and CC-C results for the last 5 completed tournaments into excel, sorted by overall score (ignoring the divisions) and then assigned points starting at 100 for the best score, 99 for second, etc.
And if anyone brings up the fact that I started tracking this with my first good week on tour, you can be sure that that was a complete fluke...
Anyways, google doc can be found here: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18s5dXLVq9IBNnnEWoabcrPBUsrPkfsAJvV5OIByvbdY/edit#gid=810110320 I just whipped this up in 10 minutes, so I give no assurances to the accuracy of this.

Very cool! How come there are zero's scattered throughout though?
I've got a big fat zero under Chapman and I was 31st place that round.

Zero's should be if you didn't play or didn't finish in the top 100. I did take CC-A, CC-B, and CC-C, so maybe you weren't in the top 100 of those on a total basis? Or I might have screwed something up when copying stuff over! What's your tour name? Could help me figure out if something went wrong

CC tours def need a fedex cup like ranking, otherwise, besides playing for fun, what's the point? And I mean that in a nice way, because I love it no matter what. I'm just saying we need a ranking system.

Tomtendo, I don't understand how you can ask what the point is. How about:
1. Well run, structured system 2. Great social setting 3. WGR 4. Flighted Tournaments 5. Ambition to move up
Shall I go on. If a point system (which is what the WGR is) is holding you back from enjoying TGCT, I am not sure what to say. FEDEX cup style points would not apply to CC because we are not in a FEDEX Cup points race.

You've had a few pretty good results recently! I had a look, even though your -4 was 31st in CC-C, it was in 170th range overall range when I combined CC-A, CC-B and CC-C, so thats why you got 0 points in the allocated for that tourney.

Overall! That makes sense now a Mr. Lowerberger! Thanks for the legwork in figuring this out.

It would be really good to have a joint CC table like this next season, with maybe the top 100 or so playing a CC major during major week with double points at stake. Also, top 20 or whatever at seasons end get auto promoted to web.

Don't get me wrong though, I love the idea of a CC point system leading to an end of the year tournament with Web cards or auto promotions on the line. I think it would also need to be split between A/B/C and D/E/Z.

And, I was using the FedEx cup points as an example... obviously not the same.
