Well....I don't know where I'm going to land after Timber so I'll just start this one up and go from there. I'll be back next week anyway if I have to drop down to Z. The winds were manageable throughout the tournament. Anywhere from 2mph to 12-14mph in all 4 rounds. Seemed to swirl quite a bit, but very very playable. Consistent 5-10 throughout every round...with drops and surges...hey...like wind actually should be..imagine that. This made Skull very accessible and ripe for the picking. I expect many low scores this week, but that really doesn't bother me as I hit a personal best after a week of working my butt off to improve in tournaments. Enough with me boring you 63-65-64-70

I'm confused now that I've seen two people with low winds... I was never below 9 mph and I prob avg. 12-15 first 3 rounds and 16mph the last round... you're saying you had 2 mph winds??? I'm starting to think this tournaments are unfair.... my wind was bad..

Looks like PC users got a patch this week and are seeing different (and more favorable) winds for this weeks tournament....... well thats just unfair.

PS4 - Winds were strong for me, 16 mph constant for the last round always above 10 I think for all 4. Had a shocker the first 2 rounds, could have scored so much better, missed putts, missed placed shots, just awful. Played good round 3, and had a good go at the 16 mph in round 4. Went 72-69-61-65 for -21
As far as the winds let the PC crowd enjoy it while it lasts, we will get the patch soon enough, hopefully before the CC Championship which all of a sudden got real for everyone with this new acceptable wind. I hope there is still some strong winds here and there, just not 2 out of 4 every week lol.

so based on previous posts and the fact through three rounds i have had constant 9-16 crosswinds this is essentially two diff tourneys. That isn't fair, the tourney on PC is totally diff than ps4.

Could be the correction to the patch that had me seeing 32mph winds of R1 of last weeks tourney. They have apparently rolled out a fix for that on PC. Might not have reached consoles yet.

The new patch has more realistic winds than before. You'll get gusts and drops throughout your rounds. It's very realistic when compared to the constant gale force winds we were enduring. I had consistent 5-7 to 10-12 winds with many drops and surges throughout my 4 rounds. I remembered the 2 mph in particular(which was for only 1 hole and 2 shots) because I had just come off a hole that had 14 mph gusts. Good on TGCT for disabling the strikes if they feel some had an advantage, but that won't taint my -26..I worked my ass off to get it.

My friend that is such a dramatic improvement, let me congratulate you, if even if winds weren't the same you still have to play the course and it sounds like you battered it. I'm starting to go under par now so am happy but have a long way to go to that sort of score, well done again

I really worked hard this past week with a few golfer's in the higher tiers to improve my focus come tournament time. I am really happy with the progress I made. Keep at it my friend...you'll see improvement in no time.

My best so far as well. As usual left a bunch out there. The conditions were very benign. Winds were never above 11 Mph, and there was some great variation; but not dramatic like when the first wind patch was installed. Greens were friendly and I expect really low scores this week. Ken

Ohh and I'm at -40 for the tourney - don't know where that will place me though as the conditions were so favorable.

Managed to throw up a good score this week. My first entry into the fray (Mistwood) went so poorly I had to take a week (2?) off, but it seems like I've made some sort of breakthrough. 69-70-69-65 for a total of -15. That was enough to put me at #25 on the in-game leaderboards (at the time, I doubt it will stick), and that's plenty for me.
