Im sure everyone has tried both methods, but what do you use most frequent in rounds?

I've started to use the draw/fade method when the wind is more than 8-10mph. It seems to be slightly easier than aiming when it's a direct crosswind, and the rollout of the ball is straighter/more predictable. Still hopeless on the diagonal winds though.

I've found myself solely using draw/fade and not aiming my character at all. It's taking me some practice since side-slopes on fairways become something I have to contend with a bit more ... but I'm slowly getting the hang of it. Been able to stay pretty competitive in Web.com even with that strategy -- and in fact, it seems like my strongest rounds to the field are when winds are between 10-13 mph. That seems to be the sweet spot for using the draw/fade strategy, at least for me.

Don't ask me... When the winds are above 10mph... Nothing works quite right. 13 and above are nonsense. I try both in heavy winds but never get it right.

I find judging the distance harder than judging side winds. Normally I can work it out but add elevation and loft to the equation and I'm quite often 2 clubs short or long. Any tips?

mix, winds over 10 aim and box for sure, if under depends on where the wind is coming from.

Most of the time I just let the wind curve my ball (and of course I aim accordingly).
Only in some special situations (eg. if I can't aim far enough to one side because of a hazard/tree/etc) I use fade/draw to keep the ball "straight".

I'm exactly the same, I think it's more through force of habit after playing golf games since the first PGA Tour Golf game on the mega drive (Genesis over the pond)

More aiming of the body, but I use both depending on the lie, shot situation and conditions.

Scenario dependent. I use all three methods, but I trust the mixture method the most in higher winds, whereas I use both of the first two moreso in lower winds.
