My regular play is nowhere near as good as my Beta play seems to have been so far. I still have concerns about Q-School, and won't be hitting hugely under par for it! I just hope to make the European Tour.
It's all very exciting though, and the plans the guys here seem to have just blows any previous golf game out of the water for me. This is simply brilliant, and what I've always wanted from a golf game.

what tour do you reckon i would be on if you went by my 2nd beta tourney score (-28)?

doubt i will make the top tours but being from England i would definately go for the European tour.My guess is there will be several links courses on the Euro tour and i tend to play well on links courses.Never played a links course in real life but played hundreds of rounds on virtual St Andrews and enjoyed every one of them.

im not a big fan of links courses even though im from England, i prefer more american style courses.
i still wouldn't mind being on the european tour.

what tour do you reckon i would be on if you went by my 2nd beta tourney score (-28)? A lot of variables is correct, however here would be my summation. Assuming you shot -7 each round you would be currently tied for 42nd. Assuming rounds 2-4 play out for other participants in line with the first displayed round. Currently 194 participants. Assuming we get 300 participants like we did for the Beta 1, on average 20 of those would be ahead of you. So you should finish somewhere around 62nd at the end of the 4 rounds. (note assumptions above). 62/300 would be top 21%. If we have 500 participants for Q school, top 21% would put you at 105th (or so). That would allow you to pick either the PGA US or Euro PGA Tour. My guess is top 190 places will get their primary choice based on the poll from this thread. (125 + 65). SO IF, (lots of assumptions) you played at that level in Q school, you should make the top tour of your choice, but at least a top tour. |

the -29 i got yesterday on the q-school practice tour did include a lot of crucial par saves especially on son gual. so my realistic goal
is probably around -20/-25

I still can't shoot well on the Q-School courses. If I managed par all the way through I'd be pleased.

i managed to scrape a 71 on copper creek and any other time i would of caved in. just takes practice.

I can kind of hang in there so to speak but it's usually a grind. I don't seem to get my fair share of birdie opportunities.

I have been having to much fun with the designer, I think I have shot even par or close on a couple of those q-school courses more than once recently, I hope I don't choke. Copper Creek has my number big time. I think when it hits the rotation I'm just going to shoot to miss the bunkers.
