That round 3 Sucked A$$!!! +10!!!
The flight physics seem a little exaggerated to me when the wind speed is over 13-15 mph. I've played in those conditions often, any I never have lined up 30 degrees from the target line. Had a fine first 2 rounds, but alas finished poorly.
-3 for the tourney.

Everything seems to get exaggerated past reality once you cross about the 15 mph mark. I completely change my calculations over 15. It's up to us to make it work as it does not seem the windy conditions are going anywhere. Finished -1 for the Hurricane and rejoiced

Only my second tourney. First post here. I agree about the wind. Very unrealistic. Shot 67-67-84-81. Sucked. I've played golf almost all my life and never had balls react like that in wind. That was nuts!

That was nuts! Unfortunately, I have.. Played in Oklahoma one year and the wind was so strong and constant that chip shots were getting blown away.. I'm talking about 3 yard chip shots that got a foot and a half off the ground getting blown off track by more than 2 or 3 yards.. Seems to me like those were 25MPH winds that day.. And I do remember hitting iron shots into the wind thinking to myself the ball was coming back at me.. The ball would land and bounce back towards me.. It was nuts.. And it was not any fun..

I have also played in winds that probably rivalled that. I had wind at my back one hole and drove it 350 yards. My usual drives end up in the 260-275 range. Balls were also vibrating on the green. If I wasn't on a Muni that tends to keep their greens a bit slow, we might have seen balls actively rolling by themselves. It was miserable.

What a disaster. Last tournament was rough, this was brutal. Rd 1 - was at 5 under until a bad shot put the ball OB...couldn't recover well, ended at -1, left SO many putts out there, putting is hard, I guess I belong in CC-D - 69 Rd 2 - ball went OB early, really hurt my round, never recovered, I probably belong in CC-E, I think I'm getting worse, putting is impossible - 74 Rd 3 - what fresh hell is this? this is impossible. This isn't fun anymore. putting is getting worse, I don't understand. - 78 Rd 4 - what's the point, this course is unforgiving and i'm getting a demo strike anyway. still can't figure out putting. maybe i should quit altogether. - 86 This tourney was miserable and not even a little fun for me. i see some great scores out there, congrats - i'm somehow regressing in this game and getting worse, it seems.

The 60 must have been during the time of funky wind correction after the patch yesterday, I'm thinking. Says his longest drive of the round was only 310 yds, when everyone else launched one 330-340 with the 22 mph wind. Stats look way too good for that high of a wind.

These patches coming in at different times for each console are really creating an unfair advantage for some. It's not a huge deal for me(short term problem) but it's obviously happening. Look at CC-C player G.Wishart 3 rounds for example...69-69-62(in the hurricane). Driving accuracy & GIR did not even change during the wind. 9 birdies on day 3 was same as day one and two total. He did improve putting greatly day 3 in his defense. In comparison though I shot -20 the first two days and scraped out -1 during the wind. I have also preformed pretty well in the wind overall so I just find his round to be questionable & probably aided by the patch. Not his fault but still unfair.

Well, there's a guy one shot back of me for first with one round to go. I only went -3 in the final round. So if he goes -5 he takes it.
Unbelievable. I figured -29 would have been enough.
Fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed. You got it man. I shot -3 in the 4th as well. I was pretty disappointed especially after shooting a -5 in round 3. You should get the win.
