Come on TGCTOURS! That wind in round 3 is just utter nonsense!!! Fine if you've got no better options to keep guys at the PGA level from getting an eagle every hole, but this is just bad for the CC guys. Nothing fun about that at all. Please qualify these courses and the wind a little better. 22mph constant winds?! C'mon man!

Good to know Jeff, although I was assuming that the guys at TGCTOURS play the Touney before going live with it. If that were the case, it was one that deserved to be reset or however you'd like to put it. Of course the real problem is still the unrealistic effect of the wind in the game. It's overkill.

Odd, I didn't see crazy winds at all. My highest winds were round 1. Everything in rounds 2-4 were from 1-11 MPH. I played all of the rounds 2-4 tonight after getting an update.

Did you actually register for this tourney and have you tried to post any scores?

looks like the update changed the winds... for the better on round 3-4? i cant remember rnd1 and 2 but i think they were sub 8mph rnd3 was 22mph rnd4 was 12mph shame we cant all have a level playing field but thats the luck of the draw sometimes... ah well was in 3rd place after rnd 2 was overjoyed but round 3 and 4 were pretty poor i need to practice playing in winds more report card : could have done better Tez

I only played my round last night (PS4) and the winds have been much as reported. Shot 68, 65, 73, 74. I actually struggled more in the 12-14mph wind in rnd4 than the 22mph for rnd 3. That said, i putted better in the 3rd round than the 4th round which has probably the difference. And I had a 92% shot that put me out of bounds and a triple bogey on the 16th which didn't help.
I hope the PS4 update fixes the swing for me, way too inconsistent.
Cheers Stu.

They are playing some fantastic football at the moment. I just hope we get past the Swans tomorrow night, they have been our bogey (Pun intended) side for a while.

Some good games coming up - looking forward to tonights. Hope they batter the hell out of each other. Funny you should mention your double at the 16th. I'm playing up on CC-D (exemption from CC-E) and it's pretty tight amongst us exemptees. Well on the 70th hole of the tournament (no. 16 last round) my drive finished on the fringe of the fairway, couldn't get enough yardage to the green and played OB twice! Finished with a 9 and have pretty much blown my chance of promotion. Back to the drawing board - bloody game!

The OB really ticked me off a few times.

If the update truly did change the wind settings..is it entirely fair to those who will finish below 70th and earn a strike. I don't care either way myself as I was going to earn a strike regardless, but would hate to see someone get nixed because they had to endure winds that others didn't have to.

There is nothing TGCTours can do for the wind. We can't play it before we release it either. It has to be named properly, so we can't keep making tournaments to get the wind right. We publish it, and hope for the best.
