* Interested in taking TGCT to the next level? * Have great ideas and a great vision for our great community? * Want to help lead the charge on what we develop next and what it may look like? We are now accepting applications for TGCT Product Manager. ( Volunteer only role at the moment) If you are interesting in helping us evolve the product/community and add even more features, please respond to commish@tgctours.com with the subject "Product Manager". Give us: 1. Real Name 2. Tell us why you would make a good product manager 3. Give us real work experience of any teams/projects you may have managed. 4. What you could bring to the table that separates you from the crowd. 5. Any experience with project management tools such as (Slack, Basecamp, Twilio, etc) ================== EDIT ================== Yes, this is not meant to scare anyone way -- we are just looking for someone: 1. With passion for this game and this community. 2. Ability to help us come up with new ideas and help implement them at the high level. 3. Looking to be with us for the long haul.. not looking for someone to do something for a week then leave us. djdavefl comes to mind - see his post here: tgctours.proboards.com/thread/4752/open-letter-powers-tgct-membersThis is the kind of the out-of-the-box thinking we are wanting someone to run with. This way I can concentrate on "building" things, Scott can concentrate on "admin" things, and this person come be the brain to come up with "new" things. Thanks, Tim

Kinda surprised I didn't get one bite on this. Especially after we see all the opinions on these boards all the time. You finally have an opportunity to have A LOT of say, and not one applicant.

Probably quite a daunting task, considering how big this place is getting i imagine a few people saw ur post Tim and initially thought they would be interested and then on 2nd glance thought damn this is big time i might not be able to cope lol. Hope u do find someone tho because this sounds very promising for the future and whoever steps up will certainly be in great company with yourself and rest of the amazing team we have got here. Fingers crossed someone steps up and helps take TGCT to the next level

I have no experience what so ever in running any team so there was no point in me applying.

Yea, if anything it would be a resume builder for someone looking to get into Product/Project management or looking to be a business analyst. But yea, that's why I laid it out as I did. I wanted it to be taken seriously.

I've been thinking about it, and I'd definitely take it serious.
But as Jules mentioned, I'm not so sure a) what exactely we would have to do and b) if I could fulfill those expectations.
For me personally, it's definitely not lack of interest.

I was definitely interedted but didn't feel I really have the required criteria!
If it's open to people who haven't really had the experience in the past but still maintain a vision of where tgctours can go then I reckon I would definitely put forward an application.

Only other thing i could say is I LOVE TGCTOURS SO MUCH!
That's how much i like this place. The people, the tourneys (actually take that back haha) and just everything really.
I definitely have the passion but not the essential requirements unfortunately.

Perhaps TGC-tours could install an enhancement team (The E-team ). Give the E-team a seperate section on this forum where they can discuss and prioritize their ideas in private. The team than could appoint a spokesman who gives feedback to TGC Management.
