Probably gonna knock this tournament out tonight. I'd be lucky to shoot better than -30.. I like the course visually and it plays nicely but no way I'll be going super low. I'll take -27 under as my realistic goal! Putting is huge at this course. Have to make the hard breaking putts for birdie!

Made a bad first round, decent second round. On my third now and wow! More wind (14 mph) and in another direction. With tougher pin placements. This is really a lot harder.
You guys playing these four rounds in -26 to -28 are doing great work.

Really had a tough time this week. Just felt out of sync, even though I had a whole day to play and was feeling well. -8 after 2 rounds, which was at least respectable...then 2 bad rounds and finished at -10. Need to learn to walk away for at least a few hours when struggling. Do you guys find that helps at all? Yes, 100%. Not only walk away for awhile, but also play yourself at least 9 holes on an easier course to get a good feeling going.

Wouldn't that stop you from finishing the tour? Playing another course in the middle of the tour?

Wouldn't that stop you from finishing the tour? Playing another course in the middle of the tour? Not at all. The game saves the Tour where you left off and you can go play whatever you like. The only stipulation is that you can't play the same course you are playing on in the Tour or it messes up (or so I have heard).
You can leave the game mid round if you want and come back to it.
That being said I have never actually left the Golf Club game or fully powered down my XB1 but I can't see why that would change anything.

I was asked to move some pins to make the course 3-5 shots easier. Glad to hear that's how it worked out on the CC course vs the Normal one.

Same story, different tourney: Three great rounds to go along with one bad/underwhelming round.
R1 = 65 (-7) Missed a couple of putts that I should've made, but also made a couple of shots that I probably shouldn't have...all evened out.
R2 = 62 (-10) If I remember correctly, I started out "on fire" with seven straight birdies, then a very average -3 on the last eleven holes. But I'll always take a -10!
R3 = 70 (-2) I had 92%-94% drives on two different holes that cost me BIG TIME, at least four shots if not more! One of them turned an "eagleable" par 5 into a bogey. So disappointed! I'd probably be in contention for the tournament win, if it wasn't for those two horrible drives. Missed a few makeable putts also.
R4 = 63 (-9) Very happy with this score for the finishing round on tough hole placements.
Total = 260 (-28)
I believe my -28 was in third place on PS4 when I finished (Monday evening). Not sure what tours the two players that finished ahead of me are on. After I finished, I was thinking another top-25 finish for me. But now that I've read some of the previous posts, it sounds like it was a tougher course than I thought for others. Now, I'm hoping for a top-10 finish.

I thought you made a great risk reward fair golf course. With 5 or 6 holes really standing out as some of the best golf holes I've played in a while. I like how you never really felt comfortable with many drives throughout the round.

Well I straight up bombed my final 2 rounds to limp in at -20... I left so many strokes right on the edge and it just deflated me!

I managed -24? Unfortunately I've DQ'd myself. Great way to use an exemption. Ugh.

Yeah I think I had a 2 under. 11 under round two. But I'm thinking the wind and pin placements didn't help a thing lol it didn't look like anyone went super low in 3?

played a quick practice round on the cc tour version and didnt really think too much, going to be a tough course for me as I hate greens like this. will be lucky to get to -5 under a round. Will have to play middle of greens on most holes.
