I'm relatively new to the GNCD and am still experimenting with the different brushes etc...
I started my first course last night and trying to fine tune what I've learnt so far and what I've seen from other designers.
Although with TGC not being able to hide/delete unwanted courses yet I was reluctant to post v.1,v1.01..............v1.0000099... BUT I was hoping to get feedback after maybe the first 9 holes, not making them completely finished but get the layout and playability tested I guess before I incorporated it through the back 9.
How are people getting this feedback? Are people doing it this way or just publishing 18 and then going back? I'm on PS4 and can go through and take screenshots to give overall feel but I think the best way to gauge if I'm on the right track is if it's played....so I've probably answered my own question, should I produce the layout for 9 and then publish to get feedback?

I've been bugging HB about this and basically they say there working on it. I'm on a PS4 as well, and even taking screenshots does little to help. I'm also working on a 9 holer, and when I think I'm finished I'd like some feedback as well. If I wanted feedback I would name the course with your initials and a number, maybe even a date, publish it, and let a few members here know about it. Like for my course I'd give it say BM1114001 or simply just BM001. I'm no expert by any means, but I'd be willing to try it out and give you feedback. My biggest problem right now is so many courses and finding the good from the bad. You can have a course that took the course generator 5 minutes , next to one that took over 100 hours to make, with pretty much nothing to tell them apart.

IMHO we have a lack of decent 9 hole courses, do the 9 and if it gets a decent response you can use it to finish the back 9.

Yeah that's not a bad idea about the naming. If you do this let me know how you go. IMHO we have a lack of decent 9 hole courses, do the 9 and if it gets a decent response you can use it to finish the back 9. That's a good point. Then it could be submitted to the executive tour. Will focus on completing the 9 first.

yeah, go ahead with the 9 holer. Although don't fall into the trap I did. Published a nice 9 and went to finish it but got sucked into a different project. Sigh...

Currently this is the only course I've got going, I've deleted all my test courses, planning this one to be my first published.. I like the idea of creating a 9hole versions of the course and multiple tee's but I'll wait for the feedback to see how I'm tracking first. Hoping to publish the test nine in a week or so, work permitting.
