Please guys...refrain from using tgctours or tgctours.com in the names of your created practice tours/tournaments.
It just adds to confusion when people are trying to find the correct tournament to play. Please just use some other abbreviation to indicate your practice tours/tournaments but leave tgctours for the official events.

I wonder if I entered the wrong tournament? I just played what I thought was my third round but found out after it was really my first round. That sucks, especially since I don't like this weeks course (CC-A).

That sucks, especially since I don't like this weeks course (CC-A). It's a tour and is a combination of 2 courses. It's normal that it says round 1 on your third round. Just play. Check the name just to be sure.

In the PC version, when I do a search for tgct, I see two identical names for tgctours.com-cc-w35.
One by Doyley (luckily I played that one)
and one by a RyoKazukiEye
Hopefully no one plays the wrong one!

Sorry it was a keyboard mistake But I've set it private as I always do - so no one can enter (I believe) and hopefully there should be no problems whatsoever. If you have time just try to enter....should be locked for anyone outside my friend list (which is at 0 )

I believe, someone may correct me here, that a tournament with an identical name will have the same winds. This is how the same winds can be generated across the three different platforms. This tournament that you set up, by that logic, may have the same winds as the actual event. Being able to play this prior to the real thing is similar to a person playing under multiple user names to gain knowledge. I wouldn't play that event if I were you.

Thanks for the heads-up swaeromotion Then I'll simply set up another practice round without adding TGC in the name and it should be ok

But I didn't know if it was because I had already played the week's tour. Were you just trying to set a private tour that had the same name so you could possibly replicate the tourney winds?

There is no need to use tgctours.com in the name of your practice event - thanks!

I don't want to create any troubles - as soon as pointed out by swaeromotion here I immediately crafted another practice named just "w35-pratica" and played there.

No you're good to play - more of a warning if it gets out of hand and to nip it in the bud league wide.
