What does everyone prefer?
Do people like to have Ghost balls from players they're trying to beat? I've seen people saying that they get nervous already when it comes to the tourney, is that enough to throw the concentration without the added pressure of a playing partner?
At the moment I don't play with ghost balls, mainly because I want to make my own shot choice from the information I've gathered from practice rounds but I'm thinking for the next Beta Tourney I might add ghost balls and play it turn by turn.
I play a lot of golf in real life by myself so it was just natural to do it on TGC.

I get rid of the rivals because I find it distracting.

I'll usually add one or two - if I'm in the running I'll add the leaders to try and catch them. The other half of the time it's just whatever is auto-added.

Very Distracting. And once in awhile when the ghost ball putts before I do..he'll leave it short blocking my view. It'll be inches from the hole and I'm unable to see the cup. Very Distracting.

I've had this a couple of times, or the ghost ball putts just as I start the backswing and it grabs my attention. They're the main reasons I stopped using ghost's but like I said will try it next beta. |

In tournament play i don't play against ghost balls because its misleading and distracting.I might have a shot with 14 mph wind and theirs might have a 3mph wind so the shots will be played differently.With normal rounds i play with ghost balls just so as i feel i am not alone and other players do exist.

I play alone or with a live player in Tournaments. No ghost balls. Very distracting.

Looks like a majority play without the Ghost Balls.. So I'm not the only lonely golfer out there...
