Came across this in a local pub in Yorkshire. All golfers need to drink Newkie Broon. Well you did in 1930 anyway!

Never really been a fan of Newkie Broon...might try a few before my next round....can't make me any worse!

Me neither! I don't drink it very often and if I do it's for nostalgic reasons rather than taste. I had it in California when on holiday there just because I'm from Newcastle. I think a few might make it worse. It's not that strong but something about it makes it seem far more potent than it is.

Alot of my friends still drink the odd 'Nuke' but as I'm a Jock in exile in Tyneside...the 'wee dram' still takes priority as a post round tipple.
