Please make sure you play the event titled "tgctours.com-cc-w34" - make sure it has the 'w' in w34
There is one that was published as "tgctours.com-cc-34" - no 'w' - that was done incorrectly. Please do not play this one as it will not be used to verify scores

Unfortunately it looks like there are a few players that played the wrong event and didn't notice.
It is the responsibility of the end-user to properly search and play the correct event. If you search for the tour name as we have it on the main page/stickied forum post the incorrect tour would not show up.
If your scorecards aren't showing up on the leaderboard that should be your first clue that there was an issue. We always recommend looking at the in-game leaderboard a couple hours after you've finished the event to ensure you are on the leaderboard.
I suspect there will be a bunch of unhappy XB1 users tomorrow afternoon.

This was for this past week's event - so tomorrow they will find out they've been DQ'd

Well, that just blows... I'll take my hit like a man... I played a decent tourney too.... What I would like to know is, was this other incorrect tournament posted by the TGC tours people ? And if so, wasn't there a way to take it down ? I understand it is ultimately my responsibility to play the correct tournament and an action was made on TGC's part to alert us, however rather than a post on the forum, wouldn't an email (like the 10 shot penalty one) been more fair ?

Yes, it was posted by our XB1 guy in error. No there is no way to take it down (just like published courses). We use the news/announcements section on the forums as our main way of informing users of issues with tournaments - especially when it only affects a small segment of the TGC Tours user base (XB1 users on CC flights). It's unfortunate but in the end if users searched for our published tour names in full as seen in the Weekly thread or on the main page under Active Events the incorrect event would not have shown up as an option.
Again, I think it was fair to not DQ but impose the stroke penalty.
