Congrats to all who played well this week. I had a situation last week that affected my play this week. Just couldn't get my head wrapped around this tourney.
I miss the old Web B guys who don't post much anymore but I sort of understand why.
HB has got to fix the ball drop on the green when you have hit it in the water. Was playing Dunholme this week in another league and had three water balls dropped on the green. This must be fixed ASAP.
This will not be agreed with, but I think ghost balls should not be allowed in tournament play. I do not want to hear that they don't give a slight advantage because they do, especially in high winds on your tee shots. Not trying to be controversial, just stating my opinion.
Good luck to all in the upcoming Web finals.

I'll ask you this, how are ghost balls any different to playing with people in real life?

Perhaps the only issue here is that ghost balls play their shots regardless of whether you're nearer or further. A tweak might be to only let you see the ghost ball if you're nearer the hole, like in real life.
Ryan - hopefully a top 3 finish this week. Well done!

hammo24953, in real life we are not all on perfect distances with each other. Understand this is my opinion, you do not have to agree. If you feel like you need the additional advantage, that is your choice, as it is within the rules.
And this is a video game not real life. Not meant to be argumentative, just stating how I feel.

As I play turn based live I wouldn't like the option taken away however I do kind of get your point with same distances etc. I suppose with turn based you are still hitting first if you're further away so it's not as bad but if I'm same sort of distance away and my mate falls short with one club no doubt about it I'll change my mind and use another club (although this sometimes means I overhit it haha). It is what it is though I'm not sure what the alternative is.

Luke, Turn based is much different than watching 3 other balls flight each time. As I said, this is just my opinion and I know that it is not shared by the majority. It will not be changed as it is not a priority item.
Water balls being dropped on the green should be a higher priority for HB. Don't know how that one got missed in testing.
Nice tournament this week Luke and Drake. I had the worst week I've had in months. For some reason the PS4 91-92% swing has shown up in my game plus everything I hit is being pulled. Played at Dunholme Manor in the LGGT this week and the greens are hard to putt. I think this messed with my confidence a little on the greens as I played a practice round at Scarpacci and could not make a putt over 5 feet.
Good luck at Scarpacci.

Agree on the ghost side. That's the only downside about everyone having equal winds -- if you see someone clear a hazard, you're obviously going to give it a shot. I generally don't use them in tournaments (too distracting), and I wouldn't be upset if they were disabled in tournament play.
The drop issue is brutal. There's a possibility that people could intentionally put it into the water to end up 10-15 feet away on the green...

Colin, did hit any water balls at Dunholme this week? If so, did you get the preferred circle drop? I dunked 3 and the drop circle was on the green all 3 times.

I haven't played it yet, but I had that happen on a couple other courses in practice -- I was never trying to put it in the water but was relieved (but disappointed) when I had a 15 foot putt for par after putting it in the water.
They need to allow designers to set up drop zones or something. A lot of the times the hazards are done correctly but others it's just a mess...
