Hey gang
How much do you guys account for sidehill and uphill/downhill lies? It doesn't seem like they really have much effect on ball flight, way less than other golf games at least.
For the most part, I haven't been adjusting too much unless I have a wood/long iron and there is a huge slope. With the way the camera follows the ball, it's hard to pick up the ball flight and exactly what effect the sidehill lies have.
Sometimes I think I might be underestimating it though, when straight shots with little wind end up quite a bit offline. Even 3-4 yards makes a big difference.
Cheers

If you wanna know what that is, just use the "Search" function (same for your question about sidehill lies and how to handle them).

I've got a related question: Which slope is used to determine how the ball flight changes? The slope the ball is on, or the slope that the golfer's feet are on? Or is it the change in height between the golfer's s feet and the ball?

I've got a related question: Which slope is used to determine how the ball flight changes? The slope the ball is on, or the slope that the golfer's feet are on? Or is it the change in height between the golfer's s feet and the ball? My running assumption is that the game calculates ball behavior based on the slope the ball is on. The character foot placement can sometimes be totally weird if the ball is in a strange enough lie, so I consider that to be just graphical and have no ball impact. I'd set up your shot based on where the ball sits - that's worked well for me so far!
