I know I can put any name, but what about nationality?
I'm aware that at the moment I'm a long shot to make any tour, but should I make the European Tour, I'd prefer to have a nationality that makes sense (either one of my great-great-grandfathers: Hugh Elliott - Scotland, Gardner Okey - Ireland, Francis Gallogly - Ireland, Clyde Marshall - England; or my BSA Scoutmaster, Paul McPherson - Zimbabwe). Is this allowed or possible?

I think everybody should play for their country, for the sake of keeping it as real as possible. And for that same reason I would like to suggest that in the leaderboards all UK flags will be altered into, Scottish, Welsh, Northern-Irish and English flags. The Brits won't play for the United Kingdom until the Olympic Games of 2016 in Rio de Janeiro. Ooooh.. will there be a TGCT Olympic Champion in August 2016 ?? There could be!

On to your great-great grandfathers... are those made up, or are you a freaking geneology student? Wow if you know that far back that accurately.

Yes, those are all real. I have my fathers family back to around nine or so generations. My moms I only have three or four (lost of the old world records in Poland were destroyed).
I respectfully disagree with the "play for your country" thing. For one reason, it seems to be deciding for you based in IP I assume. I work with people from Japan, Turkey Canada and the UK, but if they signed up from Georgia, they'd be Americans.

I think a lot of people have at some point traced their lineage back to where their family is originally from. I know that Richard Lane was born in the South Yorkshire region of England and traveled to Virginia at some point in the 1560's thus starting our American family tree.

Pretty amazing, I know who my paternal great grandfather was and maternal great grandmother, but not much more. Some of that is those were the ones who came over (from Germany) to the States. My wife knows none of that, adopted with no info. Maybe I dont dig because I know she really cant (or wont). Just interesting. Good work on your part. Also did not realize it was based on IP, I thought I remembered choosing. Yes, I guess choosing makes sense, just did not want people trying to to be "odd" or get onto Ryder/Pres cup teams due to switching. As long as you pick one and stick with it I guess.

We're putting something in place that will allow you to change it. Just bear with us while we develop the coding.
