wind went down each round and i shot better every round 73-66-65-63. great round -14 WOW! and that -28 is great! you should be in CC-A Steve and Paul I feel like the low end of our competition missing 1 week and both of you in CC-A not much of a 3 some when i am in a different league. LOL will try to catch up but looks like i maybe a few steps behind with the new rules and both of you moving up fast. good luck to all and the 4th round was nice there will be a lot of low scores i just get nervous when i start shooting to many birdies always looking for the game warden to give me a ticket oh wrong sport. everyone have fun and lets see what happens.

Wind is random. I'm sure it'll even out over time. The winds we had this week have made it difficult but not impossible. Now the 2nd rounds have been added to the leaderboard I can see I got a -7. A 3 putt on the 13th was the only blemish on what was a good round in the wind. Puts me at T-7 for the moment.
What happened on round 3 is the reason why I love to hate this game. Since the swing update which everyone has complained about I've been hitting my straightest shots to date. It all went wrong again on round 3. I was hooking everything, some almost outside the cone! Just like real golf, your swing can have an off day! Just like real golf, I'm going to have to work on it and get it right before the next round.
Anyway, lower winds (10MPH) should have given me the opportunity to shoot a low round but if you're not swinging well it makes it so hard. I battled to a -3 which in the circumstances wasn't bad.I really think I could be challenging if my swing hadn't deserted me. Hopefully I can get it back for round 4 and make the top 25

Awful course, no way enjoyable or realistic. I'm starting to really dislike the combination of double digit winds mixed with dumb courses. I really like this course, apart form the 18th green I'm not sure how you can say it isn't realistic. For me this was a course where birdies were quite hard to come by but bogies could be generally avoided. I thought it was a really good risk/reward course.

Some really good scores showing up all over the CC! Much tougher conditions than web this week.
Dean - Nice shooting - keep it going!
Jerry - nice improvement over the rounds.
I've started the 3rd rnd poor - +1 thru 4. Quit before I lost it!
Great shooting!

Looks like I'm a goner.............. My 1st 2 rounds have left me plum bottom of the leader board on +16 & those 2 strikes are in flashing mode..... I did rally for rounds 3 & 4 with a 4 under & 5 under but I don't think it'll be enough to save me...... It's been fun CC-B'ers.......... good luck to you all

Sometimes good and sometimes bad.

After 2 rounds I'm only 2 shots behind the leader of CC-A. Yeah, pretty tough conditions and quite a tough course. I've played this one safe and it's worked pretty well so far. Only 3 bogeys or more so far. That's disappointing after the good start you made. Still plenty of time to turn it around though. You're doing well up there. You, Luke and a few others have really upped your game. Wish I was up there too although at least I have a chance of winning on the CC tour if I get everything right one week. That's all I wanted when I started TGCT

So starting round 3 and now every round of at least 11 MPH winds. Really? The 11 is the mildest I've seen. Come on already.

Round 4 was good but should have been better. -6 in the lowest wind was pretty good. Unfortunately I bogied the first par 5. I gambled on hitting the green in 2, hit the bunker and fluffed the shot. My bunker play has gone downhill recently for some reason. I was still picking up plenty of birdies and a really good round was on the cards. People were talking about pin placement being tough but I didn't see it. That was until the back nine. I struggled to hit the green, I probably tried to get too close. I had a mix of birdies and bogies to get to the -6. That gives me a -18 total. I'm not sure where I'll end up. A exemption to CC-A looks possible. Fingers crossed!

Well 3rd rounds scores are up and I've moved down a little as expected but my 3rd round should hopefully get a top 10. I'm only 7 behind the leader on CC-A so it looks almost certain that I'll get another exemption next week!

I'm looking at 3rd scores, dare I say I might have a shot at winning if people blew it in the 4th but I doubt it!!! Anybody post lower than -28??

Dang man looks like you missed out on at least tying for the win by one stroke! I believe your heading to CC-A along with myself and a few others since we shot under -23. I think that's how it works. Can anyone confirm that? I looked on the site but I'm a little confused on how the exemption process works!

if you are a regular cc-b member and not a cc-c player on exemption and you finish within 15 shots of the cc-a winner you get an exemption to cc-a next week.
