Well, finally the right thread to post in, so at least I have that going for me. lol
Enjoyed the course, even with the wind. Played good (for me) in the first two rounds (67,66), but couldn't take advantage of rd 3 (70) or rd 4 (67) and finished at -18 for the tourney. Rd 4 had a few tough pins, imo.

I have played quite a few rounds on Fraxinus and have added it as a favourite.
Playing casually I have had some really good rounds, but when I decided to play the TGC, I scored the worst I have ever scored on this course. It's absolutely crazy, so one more tournament and I should get demoted, so in another couple of weeks I should be playing alongside Irving.

Just played it for the first time in the tourney and thought it was a very well laid out course. Risk reward. Had an opening 63 and thought for sure that would be low in the 15mph winds. Someone shot a 62 lol. Hoping to get my first win. I played well the rest of the days. Just playing a waiting game. I'm really starting to enjoy this TGCT. Especially with the new stats. It's amazing how far this has come.

Just finished my rounds and definitely had some missed opportunities in rounds 1-3 shooting -5, -4, and -5. Then I'm my final round I finally had some putts drop and shot -7 on the front nine and finished -11 for my final round. Hoping -25 can get a top 5 or at least a top 10. Good CC course.

missed last week out of town so i played a few practice rounds on the course and shot just -1 and -2 and really well the 3rd round so quit in the middle to start the tour shot 73 wanted to cry just could not hit a good shot. if did get a birdie a hole or 2 later had to have a boggie. still cant shoot well in the wind hope my next rounds will be better. good luck all. will practice a little more and hope to still be in the top 25 lol -25 good shooting and those 62 and 63's fantastic! looks like i will be in this flight for a while. the course was great enjoyed it a lot.

I can empathise with you Jerry, played well in practice and lousy in competition. What's letting me down at the moment is my putting but it's coming back slowly, I had a lot of missed birdies and a few eagles as well, still it can't be all bad as my last round was -2, so going in the right direction.

Right out the gate with 15 mph winds first two rounds was not an ideal setting. In the few practice rounds I played, I saw no where near this so had to adjust pretty quick. What I like about this course are the easy holes are easy, and you really had to play for par on the hard holes. 1st round -4 and after starting the second round +2 after 2, finished out with a -3. 3rd round winds let up to 10mph and I felt confident. Was -8 pretty early in the round and felt like I could go low and ended up with a somewhat dissapointing -7. 4th round 5mph winds and I felt great and hit the ground running going -9 in 9 and finishing up -14. -28 for the tourney. I suspect 4th round scores to be lowwwww.

2 practice rounds went well (-6 and -5 I think) and I set off on the course in a confident mood. Confidence went when I saw the wind, 15MPH!!! I managed to get a great start and was -3 after 4. It was all steady progress from there. I was happy with par on most holes. -3 at the turn. Disaster on 10! I took 3 to get to the green and then 3 putted from about 6 yards! Normally a hole like that would ruin my round and even my whole tournament but a 2 week break has left me with a more relaxed approach to the game. I managed to steady the ship with 7 straight pars and then birdied the last. It could have been better but I was happy with -2 in those winds. 2nd rounds, winds similar, slightly less. I had a much better round. I can't remember the score now so I'll report back later.
I like the course apart from the 10th green ;-)

Winds all over the place at Fraxinus but I managed an OK first and third round shooting 69 and 70. Chocked on the second with complete opposite winds and shot 73. Got a little revenge on the course in fourth, also thanks to manageable winds, and shot 64. A total of -12...not that good from what I'm reading here but for my third tournament ever I think I can be satisfied (and maybe avoid a strike ), even if I never fully got the grip on Fraxinus greens...

Awful course, no way enjoyable or realistic. I'm starting to really dislike the combination of double digit winds mixed with dumb courses.

Last week I finished second on the CC-C tournament and I received an exemption for CC-B tour this week. I am on holidays on my grandmother' s beach house and I have to play in an old tv that cut the borders of the xbox screen. In the golf club sometimes I only can see a part of the wind speed number. But I played 2 decent rounds with 67 and 71 strokes. Not too bad to remain in CC-B tour I think.

Is the wind selected for the tour or random based on the first player. I played this course a few times before the tourney and never had any real wind. It seems like every TGC Tour is during inclement weather? Do we ever get to play in decent conditions? Worst 4 rounds were in the tourney. Never shot above -5 during practice I don't think.
