Shot a 68 on A in up to 9mph winds. Eagle on 18 polished my score a bit. How on earth do you save a replay of the final shot of the round?

Just corrected your typo mate! Ha! This is the week it all comes together. Positive thinking. It's almost a repeat of Fraxinus mate. Another -13 on Tour B so taking into account my average 4 rounds on Fraxinus practice was -11 and I only ended -12 for the tournament, this has got a total of -14 written all over it! But I will go into the tournament on a positive note as you say........................................................ up until that double bogey on the first hole

I put up a 69 in 12-15mph. The poor part about the round was I had 4 bogies against 6 birdies. I'll take the -2...but there is more out there when you card 6 birdies.

As you say, it's so easy to bogey orbdouble bogey if you're not easy. I ruined my 2nd round on Fraxinus with an 8 on hole 2 or 3. Impossible to recover from that.

The problem with practicing these courses..at least I'm finding..is come tournament time I'm sick of playing the course. LOL I try every scenario in my practice rounds..but come tournament time..it just all goes out the window.

I've done multiple rounds under par in practice bit my tournament best is 73. Hopefully I can get slightly more consistent next week now that I've sussed the issue I had with my FPS. It makes it a bit easier at least now that I know what causes my 30 fps cap.

Thanks for the FPS tip. I don't have a strong vid card to begin with(only running a GT730) so I struggle with FPS anyway. I played around with the settings a bit and lowered the visuals in game...the game doesn't look as good but now I can average 30-40 FPS during a round where before I was around 15-20 FPS

I lower my settings very low when playing tournaments so the game plays smooth. Am contemplating a GFX update. My motherboard can handle Nvidia or AMD cards. I am just afraid that switching from AMD to a Nvidia card would be a headache with the drivers, so that is one of my options that is holding me up from upgrading.

I can never seem to get more than a couple below par in the practice rounds, but come to tournament time, usually can get to -5 or -8 each round.
Just went from a -11 on my final round at Firaxinus, to a +9 at Le Golf! Although granted I was getting 20mph winds at Le Golf. Surprised I haven't seen more complaining about the fairways, I didn't think they were that much bigger than Hau'oli, just less bunkers

My problem is I play good in practice all through the week, hit the tournament with a mix of being over confident and opening hole jitters. Usually start off bad and feel like I'm in a race to catch up and dig myself deeper into a hole that is hard to get out of. This week I'm taking a different approach, I know I can shoot consistent -6 -8 on both versions, I'll play a practice round or two through the week, but generally I'm staying away from the course then hit the tournament fresh off the boat Saturday with a screw it attitude to try and quell the opening hole jitters.

I feel the exact same way, except I've played my first two tournaments (cc-c) well in the first 2 rounds (top 10), then I suck in the 3rd and 4th rounds...

Hi! I'm new to the forums. Le Golf will be my 5th tournament. I just finished a personal best 10 under at the Rex Chapman Bluegrass Classic and in my first practice I shot a 68 / 66 in 8-10 mph winds on Le Golf A. There's some really tricky tee shots here due to the tight fairways. Good luck!

Now that's a good problem to have!
